colbo68 Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 For me, we must win tomorrow, whatever the score or performance..... this necessitates some tactical ability on the part of Holloway, some passion from the players and a lot of loudness from our fans - make no mistake, the Scunny lot will be up for it................ lose tomorrow and its over Comments please..........

Tomorrow is going to be 1 of 4 dogfights, and the men who have the heart to win the game will succeed! This is the 1 area which I have major doubts about 90% of our squad.

I'm afraid I have to agree - Clemence as captain is a no-no - he's a nice bloke, but not tough enough to give our underperformers a kick up the arse - I can't imagine any of our lads taking the game by the scuff of its neck and dying for the cause - I hope I'm wrong but what this team need is a real leader

Walsh James Mauchlan Rambo McAlister 2008? Hume Howard Hendrie
Kilworthfox Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 Hendrie? To think that some on here complain about loans and the only player who you can think of with passion (I agree tho) for the shirt is not our player!
colbo68 Posted 28 March 2008 Author Posted 28 March 2008 Hendrie? maybe - a little soon to say whether he's leicester through and through? and he's angry rather than assertive - just as likely to get sent off as to motivate the rest - a 'mad head' is not what we want - just a cool head that will rip the players to its if they dont perform - aka walshie
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 To think that some on here complain about loans and the only player who you can think of with passion (I agree tho) for the shirt is not our player! I just think he'd make a good captain. Showed more passion in the win over West Brom than Clemence has all season. Looks like he'd keep people on their toes, and tell them when they're not playing well. If we don't buy him (providing we stay up), I'll consider suicide.

Thracian Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 From a Scunny website: =============== "Seriously guys let's just give up now, we're 100% doomed. In order to stay up we're going to need to show promotion form - and this coming from a team that hasn't put two back to back wins together all season. DDLLLDLDDLLWLDLLLLWDLLDWLWLLL - our last 29 games. Only 4 wins in there and we need another 4 from our remaining 6 games." Why does the above bother me so much? It shouldn't. But it does.
dog_4 Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 we need good weather and pace in the side. last week it was freezing cold and windy and we had no pace in the side. We need etuhu and campball to play tommorow at the very least.
lildave3 Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 Even if they beat us I think Scunny are still down.
Joe. Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 Even if they beat us I think Scunny are still down. Got to agree with you there. They're already 6 points from safety and not looking like getting out of it anytime soon.
Stevosevic Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 Tomorrow is going to be crap, i just know it is.

Simi Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 What worries me is that Scunny have led recently against Stoke, Wolves and QPR. All very good sides. We've proved this season we're awful at battling out victories and coming from behind, if Scunny get the first goal, I'd be very worried.

Simi Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 & lostWe beat Brom best side in the leauge! There is no forecasting in this div we just have to give our all fans & players West Brom was no average game. When it was 11 v 11 we weren't in the game. I realise they've lost, but I'm comparing it to our ability to come from behind.

Scunny Facts they score less often that Iain Dowie does on a weekend to Amsterdam We concede the least amount of goals in the division If we can score 1 goal we by all odds win!
