lildave3 Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 That says it all. Only people who read nuts would think anything of the blubbering idiot. You are such a happy fellow arent't you?
clazkel Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 Theres no need to be so harsh, hes a Leicester fan with a quality tattoo on his back. Afew games ago he was getting ripped by the away fans and was running up and down the stairs, i found it very amusing, and he helps create an atmosphere banging the drum, at least he attempts to get the crowd going, as they don't seem to do it on their own. I think its harder work than it looks banging the drum! Give him some credit
Raj Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Jobber is actually a very decent bloke. He may look abit threatening and 'odd' especially in the 'Borat style Bikini' BUT he is a good bloke. Not everyone has the looks of Brad Pitt! Its either him or Bernie...Your choice!!!!
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 I thought that guy was a S****horpe fan. He was on the telly during the S****horpe Leicester game and the whole pub was in an uproar International acclaim, something few city fans can claim!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 He must have been doing it for a few years as i remember seeing him at an away game, when i went i had 6 layers on almost freezeing to death and there he was shirt less. He made me feel like a right poof
Thracian Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Repulsive. His demeanour makes me physically sick. You’re all fcuking idiots for idolising this outrageously disgusting hippo man. People consider him a character and why not? And do the only people worth "idolising" have to be of a certain looks and build now - like prospective television announcers? Perhaps that's why Fryatt and Laczko continue to enjoy such credibility at City. It's a funny world. All this concern about racism and sexism. The real bogeyman is looksism. If someone isn't "good looking" by the current definition of the word they go down in some people's estimation. They can be as shallow, self-centred, deceptive, cruel, controlling as you like but people will still like em and women will still be taken in and made unhappy by them. It's a form of snobbery. Well, enjoy it pal. If you're lucky your looks will last 20 years. And there's a whole industry out there which exists to try and mask the effects of time, because looks are so important to some folk. Unfortunately deterioration and fading health is there to be seen and all the beauty products in the world are simply camouflage. If Jobber wants to take his shirt off and is happy being the shape and size he is, good luck to the guy. If he's happy with himself why should he give a toss what other people think? It's only like TPH wanting to wear his statement shirts. Good luck to them both. "Better to be looked over than overlooked," was the TPH phrase. It said a lot. And Lee Jobber, as a City fan, will be remembered long after people like you and I are forgotten.

I doubt it Thrac, although I agree with your 'lookism' arguement, being a 'mascot type figure for city' is hardly 'memorobilaial' type substance!!!
Head Honcho Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 He’s a stupid fat, whale, cockend if you ask me. Is he so dumb he forgets to put a shirt on every time he goes out? Only an imbecile would find this grotesque fat fcuk funny. I'll point you out to him next time you're at a match! Maybe you'd like to abuse him in person, face to face like!!!
Dr The Singh Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 I'll point you out to him next time you're at a match!Maybe you'd like to abuse him in person, face to face like!!! Please don't tempt him, he'll take his best mate Minjeet with him and all havock will be let loose!!!!

I may be wrong but LJ seems almost the definitive face of a committed football fan. If I were a journo writing a book about City and wanted to use a photograph that captured that aspect then LJ's would be it. I feel sure he'll crop up in many a publication for years to come. Not only about Leicester City but anything dealing with football fans and, perhaps, anything written about the art of photographic imagery.

Zingari Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 WHOS THE BEST ? BERNIE or JOBBER ? there's only one way to find out FFFFIIIIIIIIGGHHHHHHHT !!!!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 That was a back-handed compliment if ever I heard one! Love slap
Daggers Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 I may be wrong but LJ seems almost the definitive face of a committed football fan. I think it's best to start reigning this one back in. He's a big bloke and a character, good luck to him...but let's stop short of sanctifying the lad. He's done stuff that would be an absolute embarrasement to the club. I can't help but feel that this thread has well run its course...

People are easily forgotten, football icons etc are two a penny every club has them, some a few more then one and no disrepsect to Jobber or Bernie, majority of fans don't give a mofo, we live in a very fast paced life where we move from one icon to the next!!! I can't see many parents pointing Jobber to there kids and I wouldn't do that with adults or friends I would take to city games!!! Maybe it's just me, but i'm more likely to point you out Thracian 'as the guy who gets drunk on the barber every home game'
Tabou Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 he'd look quite ordinary at newcastle With Leicester Tatoo's?
Wezleylowski Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Well not everyone has to go out to a large sporting event expelling their vile girth onto everyone else. Not everyone is perfect I know, but this is different. I think it’s quite offensive that this bloke parades around like some sort of pie munching spiritual leader of the football club. It’s a disgrace. Imagine if we all went exposing our man boobs, it would soon turn into some sort of massive gayfest, more than what it already is. You really are a complete and utter twat.
Master Fox Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Jesus Christ. Some of your replies are pathetic. I'm not even going to bother replying to them. But I'd like point out, I've nothing against fat blokes. But blokes like him at football games. I'd happily tell the **** to put a shirt on. He's gets called a fat bastard every week, so what's new? I'm not going to go any further into how wrong this is.
