Yup! £500k loan fee followed by £1.5million transfer fee with an extra £500k on apparences etc. Quality deal for us. Average Championship player. We were all surprised when PJ let him go but when he announced the money we were getting for him we could see the business sense.

Funny thing is, they probably could have got Ameobi without having to pay that to Newcastle, it's not as if Keegan needs him with Owen, Viduka, Martins & Smith there.
