Bluenose76 Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 If Plymouth don't do us a favour early in the week, the weekend may be far less consequential. I doubt Plymouth will want to do us a favour. Their form has been dire of late, can see Weds winning that and by some margin We my friends, are royally fcuked
Eastern Fox Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Fryatt came on right at the end of the match! Yeah I heard he missed a big chance to score, maybe it wasn't as clear cut as it sounded? His form has been terrible recently, I don't know why he's even on the bench.
Tilley Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Fryatt came on right at the end of the match! Yeah & he cocked up AGAIN didn't he when he was clear with just one defender and DJ with him. I have constantly defended Fryatt on these boards but he is SHIT.
MC Prussian Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Fryatt came on right at the end of the match! Yeah, and he was supposed to add an additional option up front. Fresh legs count for nothing when they fail to put the ball behind the goal line.
FilboFox Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 COME ON LEICESTER!!! Lets not be giving up on our team yet... there are still a good few games we can win and save this season! IN LEICESTER I BELIEVE!!! :scarf:
Leicester_Mad Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Yeah & he cocked up AGAIN didn't he when he was clear with just one defender and DJ with him. I have constantly defended Fryatt on these boards but he is SHIT. Fryatt has cost us AT LEAST 3 points this season with his miss at Southampton and that dreadful 1 on 1 miss again today. Sell him.
dandannieldanok Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 COME ON LEICESTER!!!Lets not be giving up on our team yet... there are still a good few games we can win and save this season! IN LEICESTER I BELIEVE!!! :scarf:
FilboFox Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Yeah, and he was supposed to add an additional option up front.Fresh legs count for nothing when they fail to put the ball behind the goal line. We can't blame Fryatt for our failure to score today... he played 10-15 minutes, the rest of the team SHOULD have scored before that and we SHOULD have won the game...
Tilley Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Fryatt has cost us AT LEAST 3 points this season with his miss at Southampton and that dreadful 1 on 1 miss again today. Sell him. Shoulda sold him to Forest in jan.
Eastern Fox Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Maybe someone could kidnap the players and Holloway's families on the condition that we stay up...apart from that I can't see how the bunch of idiots we call the staff and playing squad will keep us in the Championship
Leicester_Mad Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 We can't blame Fryatt for our failure to score today... he played 10-15 minutes, the rest of the team SHOULD have scored before that and we SHOULD have won the game... but Fryatt had the chance to win the game, didn't and that is why he shouldnt get 10-15 minutes
Jack Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 FOOK!! Why does no one seem to shoot, we seem to try and walk it in the net. Fryatt's finishing today was beyond pathetic as well. Things don't look good now.
FilboFox Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Yeah & he cocked up AGAIN didn't he when he was clear with just one defender and DJ with him. I have constantly defended Fryatt on these boards but he is SHIT. Yeah... I have to admit that he should have taken that earlier and I don't rate him at all and think we should sell him BUT that shot did deflect off a Colchester player or the goalie saved it as it was a corner that followed...
MC Prussian Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 We can't blame Fryatt for our failure to score today... he played 10-15 minutes, the rest of the team SHOULD have scored before that and we SHOULD have won the game... Well, he was just another piece in a totally messed-up puzzle known as Leicester City Football Club (First Squad). And as for your hollow and forced "positive" repetitions:
FilboFox Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 but Fryatt had the chance to win the game, didn't and that is why he shouldnt get 10-15 minutes Yeah... but like I said, the team should have been winning by that point anyway...
wurmer Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Listening to Ollie on RL now. Sounds almost like he's given up........... If he's like that in the Dressing Room, then it's no wonder we are in the position we are.
MC Prussian Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Yeah... but like I said, the team should have been winning by that point anyway... But they didn't. And that against Colchester.
Leicester_Mad Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Yeah... but like I said, the team should have been winning by that point anyway... They should have been yeah, but they had no real chances, when we do get them we have to take the chances.
Moreton Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Shoulda sold him to Forest in jan. Shoulda woulda coulda
Foxhateram Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Yeah... I have to admit that he should have taken that earlier and I don't rate him at all and think we should sell him BUT that shot did deflect off a Colchester player or the goalie saved it as it was a corner that followed... To me that was a vital point, were now out of the rele-zone on goal difference, and Holloway made the sub to bring on the scorer in Hume. You cant win round here these days, your super sub comes on and scores a goal and you still get ridiculed. I am still optimistic, we have sheff wed and barnsley next two games, if we beat them then we wont go down. Alot relies on mondays game admitted, but i truly beleive plymouth will do one over sheff wed.
colbo68 Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Devastated.Gutted. Furious. A point against a side who have ALREADY been relegated. Shameful. amazingly we are out of the relegation three!! however, with performances like that I still reckon we are going down - when will Ollie drop that t..t Howard??
FilboFox Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Well, he was just another piece in a totally messed-up puzzle known as Leicester City Football Club (First Squad). And as for your hollow and forced "positive" repetitions: Positive!?! I'm not positive as I clearly said that we were shit today and completely failed in a match we should have won... what I am trying to say though is that apart from the rubbish finishing, we were the better side. And that the support today was FAB!
Jack Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 amazingly we are out of the relegation three!! however, with performances like that I still reckon we are going down - when will Ollie drop that t..t Howard?? Hopefully sooner rather than later.
Joe. Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Right here's how I look at it. It's definitely two points dropped. But it could have been worse. I think this extra one point could prove crucial in the final league standings. So it's not all bad. And we weren't good at all today. Poor service and poor finishing cost us a win that we really should have got.
