Mark Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 If we do go down the person i will feel really bad for is Max Gradel had a blinding season in League 1 he has probably been looking forward to playing for Leicester at a higher standard but could find himself playing in League 1 for another season.* Thats apart from all the obvious. Fingers crossed it wont happen and i dont believe it will despite what Ultra may think. " " He'll probably be sold to a Championship club without playing a single game for us, what a sad state of affairs.
Fox You Forest Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 He'll probably be sold to a Championship club without playing a single game for us, what a sad state of affairs. How annoying would that be.
Leicester_Mad Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 exactly, its too tight to say were going down at this satge ffs were not even in the drop zone up dum asses we are above someone on goal difference, they have a game in hand against a side that has nothing really to play for....a side that doesn't exactly appreciate Holloway anymore....wow i expect Plymouth to come out all guns blazing. Sheff Wed will draw their 7th game in a row, send us into the bottom 3 where we shall not come out of again this season. I think it may be for the best, get the shit players, the shit board members, the shit management but majorly the shit fans who actually dont give a shit (fook praising the lad who went on the pitch, what a ****!! you slowed down the game, you wasted time and you most probably made the players wonder why they are actually on the pitch?!) We deserve to go down, if we dont its just delaying things by 1 year.
Daggers Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 I thought the atmosphere was cracking - went home with a sore throat and hoarse voice. I felt like I'd been at a game. It made a change. Barnsley is going to be great - I can't wait.
Kilworthfox Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 I swear Hendo could of saved that goal. It was a very soft goal!
filbertway Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 It was a very soft goal! He just went down so slow and didn't seem too annoyed that he'd just conceded. Oh yeh... what was wrong with Hayles' goal?
Daggers Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 He just went down so slow and didn't seem too annoyed that he'd just conceded. Oh yeh... what was wrong with Hayles' goal? It looked offside to me yesterday, I didn't have a problem with any of the decisions.
Cat Burger Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 ...And that is why I've only been to one other game this season.
Simi Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 It looked offside to me yesterday, I didn't have a problem with any of the decisions. Looked like a handball in the build up as well to me?
Daggers Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Looked like a handball in the build up as well to me? I don't know, did it?
Raj Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 I found it VERY worrying that after they scored NO ONE in our team tried to Get the others going Hendrie was through alot of the game by gesticulating to the crowd and a few of the playrs to play up but Kisnorb(As Captain) just stood with his arms on his hips as we kicked off after the goal. No words of encouragement. No leaders on the pitch, is my biggest worry. (P.S apart from that we were pretty shit although we had enough to win)
Father Ted Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 He just went down so slow and didn't seem too annoyed that he'd just conceded. Oh yeh... what was wrong with Hayles' goal? He could have done better but it was completely diabolical defending from Kisnorbo especially and Clapham. Lisbie had Kisnorbo in his pocket all game. Although one positive is that we may have found the new Walsh/Elliot - that's Mcauley. Stick him up front as an impact sub when Howard can't be arsed to run anymore.

Bryn Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 I think both Kisnorbo and Henderson could have done better with the goal.

He was continually gesticulating to the crowd to pump it up - and seemed the most gutted by the result. I'd seriously consider giving him the job full-time next season and swapping him into centre-back. I think he reigns his passion in during the games because he is one of the youngest - I'd like to see him given freedom to start shouting at everyone, and there's no one else in the squad up to it.

Daggers Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Serious? Damn serious. He's raised his game to a decent level - and did you see him at the end, last person off the pitch yesterday. As he finished thanking everyone the abject disappointment with the result flooded out and he had a mini-swear fest in the centre-circle. He felt it yesterday, he felt it deeply - and you show me one other person over the last few seasons that has done that? He's a kid and he's been through a tough growing up - shit has been thrown at him by the bucketload and yet he's come through it a stronger player and mentally tougher. We want a captain who cares. He doesn't have to be the best player on the park - he just has to keep wanting us to fight for 90 minutes. Give him the responsibility and he strikes me as a person who will grow with the responsibility.
Nosowicz Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 It has taken me some time to be able to put into words what I feel after yesterdays game and the ridicoulus comments made after the game on the radio. We started the game very edgy and nervous and never got going, most of our players showed no passion or commitment and were there because it was thier job as oppossed to enjoying themselves. It was as a poor a performance as we have had this season, and this against what was clearly the poorest team to visit our the Walker's this season. As the game went on, we got worse, in terms of nerves, and simply were not good enough in any way. On this form, we will struggle to beat Barnsley, have a fight against Wednesday (where anything could happen) and will not be able to get a result away against Stoke, who may need a result to get the title. So the optimistic me say's we can get 4pt from the last 3 games and enable us to finish on 52 points After listening to the phone-in with Steve Walsh and how disapointed and nervous everyone was with the comments, I was extremely disapointed and concerned with the interviews which went unchallenged when stating someing along the line of "if we carry on putting in performances and effort like we did today, we will be OK" - amazing and not in the real world. If the management and players really think they can play like that and get enough points to stay up - I for one am amazed at the apethetic attitude the club has. I have not heard an interview with mr holloway, as I am still recovering from his quote some 3 weeks ago "The time for talk is over, now is the time for action". Mr Holloway, when is the time for action, please do not offend us with excuses straight from the David Please book of pathetic excuses, just do your job and organise a team of players to fight to the final whistle in the spirit of managers and teams years before you. Looking at other teams around us, I am struggling to see survival and we now MUST rely on others slipping up Sheff Weds 48pts + 5pts from Plymouth (a win), Blackpool (a draw) Leics (a defeat) and Norwich a draw = 53pt prediction Coventry 49pts + 4 pts from Colchester (a win), Wolves (a loss) and Charlkton (a draw) = 53pt prediction Soton 50pts + 4 pts from Burnley (a win), West brom (a loss) and Sheff Utd (a draw = 54pt predition Blackpool 50pts + 3 pts from Sheff Weds (a draw), Plymouth (a draw) and Watford (a draw) = 53pt prediction This means with our current 48pts that we need 6pts (or 5 if we have a positive goal difference in the last 3 games) meaning we need to beat Barnsley and Sheff Weds, as getting a result at the potential league winners on the last day is not really on, is it. I am hoping that my predictions are wrong, for the other teams as I cannot see us getting 2 wins from 3 games and it really hurts me to say that if Sheff Weds win on Monday night that we are quite rightly clear favorites to be relegated

Daggers Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Edit: Disco Bob/daggers' comments about Stearman say exactly what I was trying to say!! Huzzah - we are now quorate. It says in the rules that when three or more people agree on something sensible they are allowed to over-throw the State and smash the system. ITV Saturday Night TV Scheduling...you are in my sights. Ant and Dec, you are SO dead!
