StroudFox Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Huzzah - we are now quorate. It says in the rules that when three or more people agree on something sensible they are allowed to over-throw the State and smash the system. ITV Saturday Night TV Scheduling...you are in my sights. Ant and Dec, you are SO dead! Huh?

Raj Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 ...but a word of praise (again) for Stearman. He was continually gesticulating to the crowd to pump it up - and seemed the most gutted by the result.I'd seriously consider giving him the job full-time next season and swapping him into centre-back. I think he reigns his passion in during the games because he is one of the youngest - I'd like to see him given freedom to start shouting at everyone, and there's no one else in the squad up to it. Stearman was really psyched up and getting at Kisnorbo and the crowd too!! He was really cross with the conceded goal.Edit: Disco Bob/daggers' comments about Stearman say exactly what I was trying to say!! Yeas i forgot about Sticks He was also constantly chasing for the ball when it went out for a throw in to get the game going again and livening t up,whilst some of his more experienced colleagues were prancing around as if they couldnt give a fcuk. Apparently Sticks was devastated after the game and hence people who tend to hammer him and say he doesnt give a fcuk should think twice. Other players(some are so called premier league...they think!) acted like they couldnt give a fcuk. They should be a ashamed.

gruntled Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 Nosowiscz, I think you'll agree that if we have scored 18 goals fewer than "what was CLEARLY (my emphasis) the poorest team to visit our the [sic] Walker's this season" then we surely deserve to go down. Colchester have in Lisbie one of the better strikers in this league, a recently re-inforced defence, and (since relegation was inevitable) an 18-year-old on the wing who is coveted by the big clubs. Colchester won at Charlton, scored three at WBA, drew with Watford away, beat Ipswich at home at a canter just last week, and so on. They are as much proof as anyone in the league that nobody is CLEARLY that much better than anyone else. And we can only hope that on Saturday the Colchester that scores very regularly and has recently tightened up its defence a notch will show up against CCFC .
Tilley Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 Wow. Dropping two points against Colchester now seems slightly more important
Fox in a Box Posted 15 April 2008 Posted 15 April 2008 http://www.cu-fc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Gall...1289208,00.html keep the faith?
Thracian Posted 15 April 2008 Posted 15 April 2008 Wow. Dropping two points against Colchester now seems slightly more important It was as bad as dropping the two points against Charlton at home.
The People's Hero Posted 15 April 2008 Posted 15 April 2008 Kevin Lisbie. Kevin Lisbie. I'll say that again - Kevin Lisbie. League One.
Fat Ron Posted 15 April 2008 Posted 15 April 2008 Kevin Lisbie.Kevin Lisbie. I'll say that again - Kevin Lisbie. League One. Wasnt Lisbie on trial with us in the Summer
The People's Hero Posted 15 April 2008 Posted 15 April 2008 Wasnt Lisbie on trial with us in the Summer He's cr ap so yeah, I'd have thought he ticks all the boxes.
davieG Posted 15 April 2008 Posted 15 April 2008 He's cr ap so yeah, I'd have thought he ticks all the boxes. 17 Goals for Colchester this season implies that he ticked a few more boxes than our goal shy nonentities
AyewJoking Posted 15 April 2008 Posted 15 April 2008 Sorry its late, I've been without a computer for a few days but if we cant beat Colchester I'm pretty sure we WILL go down now.
