I'd be so ****ing glad if Fryatt never played for us again, so glad. He's right footed, why try and cut inside?! Damn fool.

Aside from that, I don't quite know what to say right now, I really don't.

If I was to bump into Fryatt tonight I could quite easily with no second thoughts twat the b*stard :@

Exactly what I was thinking.

We've still got to play Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday, it's those two games that are the big ones. Take three points of those two games and in my opinion we may just be safe.

I would like to share your optimism but our team simply doesn't show up for big games. Playing the two worst teams in the Championship at home in 'must win' situations we barely beat the first and messed up today. What makes you think the team will perform against Barnsley or Sheffield Wednesday?

This division is so unpredictable.

I'm not normally optimistic, but I think I'm a realist and I think people are thinking we need more than we actually do. I think only three points from those two will keep us safe. Even two draws maybe, but it would probably mean us needing something on the final day which we don't want at all.

The hope that the same team that turned up against West Brom shows up again.

People are acting as though this result has all but relegated us. Why?

For me, it is because we have only just scraped a point against comfortably the worst team in this division, on our own patch. In addition, Barnsley have hit good form and Sheff Wednesday haven't lost for a few weeks and are playing decent football.

absoloutly gutted, even though we salvaged a point going behind to an already relagated side is shocking. we should have buried the changes we had earlier. the strickers dont have the heart in um to win games atm. or so it seems. personally think that barnsley is the decider if we win we may have survival if we lose we are more then likly to go down.

Let's hope Barnsley and Wednesday only line-up with nine men.

I think that's what it would take to get six points from those games the way we're playing at the moment.

It seems all our strikers are absolute b*llocks apart from Hume. Desperate times call for desperate measures, it's time to bring back the (ankle) to save our season. :D

Imagine that (ankle) comes off the bench on the last day to save our season :P

I just can't see us staying up with Ollie now, he was so tactically useless today. For example Hayles was doing more than ok on the wing so he was moved up front, to partner Howard, how many times has this happened and failed. He's said himself they were not signed to play together. I couldn't believe me eyes, for the first time since Adams last few games, total despair.

We started with 4-4-2 and had no options to change it apart from going gung ho with strikers, despite talking about and bringing in around 15 wingers.

Who's gonna walk on water, then?

I presume you meant it hasn't filled you with confidence. (Hence I changed it for you).

lol

Coincidentally, the last manager who appeared to be a broken man after a game was Rob Kelly... he was out of work a couple of days later.

When their goal went in, I was stunned. At that moment, I think it finally dawned on me the trouble we were in. I couldn't offer anymore excuses, I felt empty.

Please, I don't want to have to be put through that again. We desperately need a result against Barnsley.

Memories of Preston last season come flooding back. Nobody expected us to get a result there and look what happened. What I'd give for two Preston-like games against Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday.

Anybody who hasn't got a ticket for Barnsley, I urge you to get one. Anybody who has got one, make as much noise as you can. What have we got to lose?

Quite a lot really.

Cheeky sod, you know what I meant.

There's a lot riding on this game yes. Everybody, just have a good time regardless of what happens.

Sing your hearts out.

I just sat there it was like the morning after a heavy nights drinking, Sitting there thinking what the hell happened with a dogy feeling in my stomach. :(

Good post, Sam. Hopefully the fans and the 11 guys on the pitch give it everything at Barnsley, I certainly will. A repeat of last year will go down very nicely indeed.

I hope more people share our attitude. If we can't get a result against Barnsley, I'm left fearing the worst.

I really don't want to have to go to Stoke on the last day needing a result.

Fair play to whoever moved my thread.
