Legend_in_blue Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 I thought Holloway was the communication king! I don't think that the players were following IHs instructions. From what I can make of it, he wanted Hendo to take the kick so that Kisnorbo had more of a chance of getting on the end of something in the box, not the other way round. Whatever, on reflection, a complete balls up if you ask me.
filbertway Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 Woever says a point won't keep us up is talking rubbish, unless im mistaken that point is keeping us above the bottom 3, what could stop that happening come 4 pm on the last day of the season.
Corky Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 I was more suprised, and annoyed, that Kisnorbo, one of our biggest threats from set-pieces, was taking the free-kick. What a farce if our players misunderstand instructions. Maybe that's why we are near the bottom

He's been doing that for years now, something I've never understood as his delivery is rarely good enough, must just be another defensive tactic to make sure we've got him back in case of a counter attack, no wonder we can't score the reasons are endless.

Yeah I know, and in my opinion, Kisnorbo looks more convincing in front of goal than our strikers.

If a simple instruction like that can't be carried-out what are the chances of any tactics before the game or changes during being understood. It's all becoming clear now.
