Ric Flair Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 Do anything about the current situation we are in? It's the feeling of total helplessness that is crucifying me and i'm sure many others. I know we've been crap for a long while now and by rights it should have sunk in, but on Saturday watching what was happening before my eyes left me feeling absolutely bewildered. These next 3 weeks will be horrible, i'm never the most optimistic of fans, but right now I wish I could just walk away, not be arsed and let this shit house die on it's arse. But I can't do that, but I can't really help matters either so it's 3 weeks of pure misery almost watching a car crash in slow motion.
Webbo Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 Pop up to Barnsley an assassinate their leading scorer?

Chill. why worry.... we'll be back if we do go down... as arnie says.......................'i'll be back'
the beange Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 I dont mean to sound negative about our team but.... If we do go down it wont be as quite alot of peopel think it will be belive it or not there are teams down there that generally work harder than us
Rocky Dennis Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 Of course we can't. How many times this and previous seasons has a large attendance making noise made any difference to the performance/result?? Despite Milan and Ollies spin i think we as fans are largely irrelevant to the club, apart from the salaries we provide for them all.

Logic says Bournemouth's push will fail but they are inching ever closer to survival and what a hero Gradel will have been if that happens. How frustratingly ironic too if we go down. Some things almost seem to have an inevitability about them. And if Shush! delivers the free-kick or corner that steers Leeds to victory in the play offs it's not just you will feel crucified. This whole place will have the air of a funeral parlour. The chances of all three things happening must be remote but football is full of daft stories and there really is so little anyone of us fans can do but yell our support and hope.
Flynny Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 Title played with because I'm a Grammar Nazi. Sorry.
Monk Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 Title played with because I'm a Grammar Nazi. Sorry. Surely it should read 'Can we as fans...?'
Flynny Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 Surely it should read 'Can we as fans...?' I swear thats what I editted it to. It said "us" before. Done now.
Joe. Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 Preston last season. Non-stop commitment from our fans, it was fantastic. I'm sure the effect was there that day.

SamL Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 Preston last season. Non-stop commitment from our fans, it was fantastic. I'm sure the effect was there that day. Preston away last season was immense. Everybody got behind the team 100% that day, lets hope we can do the same against Barnsley. It's simple really, we pay our money every week to watch this shite. We can't possibly do anymore, but I can see where you're coming from Ric.
