Depressing....

Today was without a doubt one of the worst days ive had in supporting Leicester. Ive seen us relegated many times over the years but this one is hurting far more than the rest as we've had so many chances to pull away from the mess that we're in. Just looking round today I experienced so many things that just made me feel worse as the 90 minutes wore on...

- The stand shaking when Wednesday went ahead

- The celebrations in the away end as Hume missed his penalty

- The guy a few rows in front of me celebrating like mad when he thought Howards shot was in... only to realise about 5 seconds later that it hadnt and his face slowly drop to show the pain of knowing it wasnt our day.

- Looking at the kop and watching season ticket after season ticket being thrown towards the pitch - i understand why it was done but in some ways it broke my heart to see all those fans giving up.

- The players walking off without a moments care for the fans (bar Clapham and Stearman)

- The tannoy guy announcing the attendance at the final whistle with a cheerful tone as if it was the main part of the day.

And the thing thats left me feeling most disgusted is that we arrived early to the ground today and saw some of the players arrive with a change of clothes ready for the player of the year celebration tonight. If there was any justice then that event should be cancelled and I would lose any remaining respect for any players who are seen to be getting drunk and having a good time - it would just prove that they dont care about this club in the slightest!

No european championship and the prospect of starting a season in league one.... this could be the longest summer in a long time!

I've no emotion left re Leicester City football Club at this moment, I'm no longer disappointed, angry, depressed, disillusioned etc.

I've never felt like this before, it's like my feelings tank is empty, my heart is a massive void of nothingness in fact I'm even finding it strange writing this in that I'm neither bothered or not bothered to write it - It's just something to do after I've just spent a couple of hours watching a film. :dunno:

I know what you mean, I felt numb when they took the lead, seeing 3,200 Wendesday fans in ecstacy was painful. When I was walking out, to see Leicester fans slumped on the floor, head in hands, summed it up. It's more than football, I wish the players would realise that.

I'm sorry. I cried.

Silly girl or was it because someone trod on your foot.

I see Lester caught up with you then.

I must have seen at least twenty people crying after the match, save the tears until four o clock next sunday :giggle:

Straight after the game and in the pub after I felt disillusioned... dejected but also just a bit numb. By the time I'd walked back to the car and on the drive home I was just fooking angry and took it out on any driver who dared get within a half mile radius. I'm not much better now I'm home and supposedly chilling out.:mad:

The fact that this incompetent bunch of wankers (the majority of whom simply can't be arsed to put in any effort whatsoever - they'll still get paid, so why bother?) are tonight out celebrating makes me want to go and punch and kick things... hard. In fact, if I wasn't already too pissed to drive I would be sorely tempted to turn round, drive the 120 or so miles back to Leicester and key each and every car that the over-indulged bastards own while they're out enjoying their jolly. :@

Sad sad day and to make matters worse I was sickened by Oakley's comments on the radio when he said, and I quote "typical Leicester the way they played today"..what the fook is that supposed to mean?

There is no team spirit and it's been the same sorry story game after game this year, look like the home side for 10 minutes and then crumble and die.

I have a message for Milan...been a ST holder for 29 years will not be renewing it next season regardless of our league status if you leave that nomark idiot in charge! :@

Hope that didn't involve drink driving

I completely agree with you. It nearly made me cry seeing Muzzy, Taggs and Walshie running round the pitch before the game, wishing they were out on the field in a blue shirt.

I will still renew for next year, whatever division we are in.

That pissed me off too!! Its not "they" its "we" - just shows how some players view the club as one giant pay cheque!

This is the most depressed that I have been in a long time.

The three things that depressed me most where:

Our fans agreeing with the Wednesday chants of '1-0 and you fooked it up!'

Two city fans nearly having a punch up post match 'coz of the result

And what depressed me most, was a small kid (must have only been about 5, and donning full city kit) saying that he didn't want to see Leicester play anymore after todays game.

What a bloody awful day.

I tried to talk SF into gatecrashing the do just to have a go at them.

What really pisses me off is that I am guessing that most of our squad see themselves playing elsewhere if we are relegated. What other profession can you be part of a failing team, and then leave on your own terms, and to go to a better employment situation? They deserve League 1 football, they've shown they aren't capable of sustainable and consistent performances at this level.

That's what gets me as well Lisa. I'm stuck in two minds. One says they should be forced to stay to get us out of the mess they've put us in, but the other one says "just get out, I never want to see you at my club again".

Where were you sitting, I went ballistic on Howards shot then reacted like that.
