Darkzzz_ Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 Just a new topic as i am getting bored of the other ones around here.... Now we all like to have the upper hand when we are down the pub talking about the beautiful game, now here is a place we can feed our ammo from.... Football facts and stats and anything random that is interesting please post in here, i really do love to hear some interesting facts regarding the beautiful game... Like most of you i claim to be the mother of all knowledge, but i will hold my hands up when i dont know something, some people have shared some interesting knowledge with me, now i want all of yours!!!! I suppose i better start of with a fact..... Its not a suprise..... You will all know this..... Fact Number 1: Leicester City are going down........ Ah thats that one off the chest..... SO....... No more of that!!!! I did however find a very interesting story regarding the Catalonia and Basque football teams.....I will discuss the catalonia football team.... They are obviously not listed in FIFA's international teams because of the spanish international team, although they are trying it, but i did not know how many of the top players play for these teams....for example Puyol and Xavi play for catalonia, i knew they were very proud catalans but i really did not know that they actually had a team let alone players of top class playing for them. It would be very interesting if they did break into FIFA, but somehow i doubt that would ever happen.
