Well 12 months ago we should've made him permanent and why the feck we didn't I don't know. Nigel Worthington for me, failing him, Newell or Dowie will make it a whole lot better in this disgraceful position we are in.

p.s has anyone got a gun, I need to sacrafice a f****t fan for the good king leicester...

joe royale would be good.... but holloway is our 4th manager in like a year..... we need consistency with whoever we get in... look at birmingham.. they kept steve bruce got em back in the premiership...

Correct me if I am wrong, but WHO was the man who brought good managers to the club. MARTIN GEORGE.

Brian Little. Took us up.

Mark McGhee. Did well for us. We did protest to him leaving so he must have meant something to us.

Then the great MON. The man who left us in great condition, but no-one since has been able to get us back to the great times.

This chairman knew a good manager when he saw one. If I am wrong please correct me.

What I would say is Milan could do no worse than to hire Mr George as the head on management recruitment for City if we do part with IH.

He may have made some bad choices, but the good ones were far better than Mr Mandaric's selections so far.

We have to look for steel in the side like Walshy, Lennon, and Taggs, AND steel/authority figure in the Dugout.

We have to look back at our history of looking at the managers from lower leagues who have done VERY well, as MON had.

Do not look at quick fix selections who have no record of achieving anything.

The board should look at EVERY available manager and then look at their achievements. Sorry IH but what had you done?

Megson was proven, and I believe had he stayed next season we would have been the next West Brom!

Come on, let's do it properly this time, IF IH is given the push. If he isn't, let's forget what he had done (however bad), and support him!!

Good point, I would have Little/McGhee over anyone we've had since MON. Martin George was more sensible with money too, he wouldn't have sanctioned the wild spending under Peter Taylor that virtually destroyed the club.

Unless we can get Davies or Allardyce which we now can't i don't think.

Martin Allen is avaliable, but don't think thats possible either.

I challenge u all to look at managers in the game today and find the one's with the best overall records outside of the prem. Not just one season records either, but over 3 or 4. We need to look at the one's that does great things at any club they go to. Ollie got QPR up. Megson got WBrom up. One season wonders though Mr Mandaric. MON got wycombe up, was turning Norwich around etc. He was something special. Newell ???? Contender.

Newell took Hartlepool up. He took Luton up. He stailised Luton with hardly no money until they stabbed him in the back for being truthful.

He played for us. He's honest. he's tough. He's one of my picks if Ollie goes.

I wouldn't mind Newell either to be honest.

Luton were a sinking ship and he could never have been expected to work many wonders there. Although in their first season in the Championship he was extremely successful with them.

A former player too, could be worth a punt.

Sir, that was a stroke of genius, but to be fair it wasn't the hardest management selection, right who's doing well and can we nick him. Can George do that with our current position?

Have all the players officially finished now for the season? I hope Mandaric doesn't drag it out and take a month or so to make a decision, if he's unsure then stick with Ollie. This next decision is crucial, but dithering won't help.
