Rocky Dennis Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 I KNOW WHICH TYPE OF FAN I AM DO YOU???? DICKHEAD!! Who the feck dyou think you are?
Houdini Logic Posted 8 May 2008 Posted 8 May 2008 I don't see why people wouldn't renew - being relegated is probably the most interesting thing to happen to this club in years

C-man Posted 8 May 2008 Posted 8 May 2008 Like F1 barmy army? Which tbh, is fast looking like Me, Mikey and Sods. I've essentially made up my mind that I'm going to get a season ticket. I might miss a third of the home games because of Sheffield Uni commitments, but at least being a ST holder will guarentee me a ticket to all the away games. Oh, and F1 still. Probably next to you Ben because I don't think my (Lack of)Atmosphere dad is renewing.

C-man Posted 8 May 2008 Posted 8 May 2008 Wahey! 4 of us!I'm quite determined not to move. I still think the top of F1 is the best place to be at the Walkers. Obviously L1 is great, but you can hear the away fans too much, especially when they score and its gut-wrenching.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 8 May 2008 Posted 8 May 2008 Thats a debate i wouldn't wish to start. However the Sheff Wed game was something though to be fair. Yeah fair enough, I think most Ft people are in that area, though dont know for sure. I think i recognised a couple of people there but didnt go and introduce myself
volpeazzurro Posted 9 May 2008 Posted 9 May 2008 That is outrageous! I agree with the sentiment of what he said and i am renewing too. It annoys me how fans can pick and choose when they want to support a side. The passion of supporting a football club comes from sticking with them through thick and thin. We need to ensure that we stick by Leicester and retain some pride, otherwise we might find ourselves the laughing stock with several willing to jump ship and a half empty stadium-they are not proper fans in my book. That is not offensive, that is just the case. Show your support when your team needs you most! If Holloways the manager I won't be renewing our three season tickets. I take the opposite view to you I'm afraid. It's because I've supported this club for so long that I think its wrong to just go along with a course of action that is destroying our club. Swearing undying allegence to your club might make make you feel good inside and make you think people might respect you for it but you just might be compounding the problem. As a supporter I haven't got much of a say but can for the time being vote with my feet and wallet. History is littered with examples of people blindly following in good faith in the hope things get better rather than actually doing something about it personally. We should be left with some decent players but I'm afraid that imo, Ollie's so inept they don't stand much of a chance. Even if he did manage to get us up, do you think he's worth another chance in the Championship? I think not. I'm quite happy to pay out and watch our side in this lower tier as we deserve to be there, but don't ask me to lower my principles and turn a blind eye. The problems at the club need sorting and if we all just turn up again regardless MM might just think we agree with everything thats going on. So don't ask me to take a good look at myself you pathetic little nob, we're all entitled to make our own mind up about these things for our own reasons!
demon_dog Posted 9 May 2008 Posted 9 May 2008 I for the first time am seriously considering my options. Personally if Holloway stays as manager I may not renew my season ticket. Many of you can say what you like about this, I don't bloody care. For the last 35+ games I have seen an inept manager chop and change the team around, different formations, square pegs in round holes, crap substitions, etc. The question is do I want to more of this next season ? The answer is NO. I say get rid of Ollie now. Let's move on and get back to where we belong. At the moment I say may not renew, still undecided, my wife will probably tell me to buy a ticket so she can do what she wishes on a Saturday afternoon!! Only time will tell.

The first sentence sends a message to the club hierarchy in a lesson they understand. As does the poll results on the Mercury website. Let's hope they take heed.
Guest Posted 9 May 2008 Posted 9 May 2008 I'll be renewing - just don't know where yet.Would be funny to see Foxestalk take over L1. Defecting is the future. At least it better had be.
