Probably.

Please dont.

There are enough stupid threads on here without you adding to them.

I'm tempted to change it to best/worst poll poll.

Do it please.

I put Taggart as the best i thought he did well i remember beating barnsley at home 2-0 at home which was good and also the fantastic performance at Stamford Bridge ;)

I've voted for Burrows for the best and Megson the worst. Although Holloway has been poor, he wasn't helped out by Megson at all.

Frank Burrows.

2-0 win over Barnsley, then the 4-3 at Chelsea followed by two draws away at Colchester and Preston and the home horror show against Burnley which happens every year whoevers in charge.

Gary Megson is winning despite only managing 1 win in the league whilst playing the most defensive system known to man. :dunno:

How can the manager who got us relegated not get voted the worst manager of the season?

Because he wasn't the abject ****nut who oversaw the aquisition of 14 players during last summer - a number of whom have to rank as the worst ever players to have been given a contract by City. :dunno:

And he doesn't look like the volcano off the Tyrannosaraus Alan adverts either.

Could you explain your choice please?

If we had kept with him we would not have been relegated.

Megson realised that we had poor attackers so he utilised the defence and ensured that we would not lose games and defend a lot, hoping to nick the odd goal.

It would not have been pretty but he would have kept us afloat and then had time to get in his own players and attackers come January

Fair enough, don't agree with it but fair enough.

Can you explain why he was the worst?

cuz of his stupid defensive tatics. if were going to struggle to score goals you need to attack as much as possible

Under Allen we had an attacking mentality, Megson changed all that. We barely looked like scoring in league matches, he had a couple of good cup results, but league was awful. Going to S****horpe for a draw was a joke, and the home match against Sheffield United was the worst I think I've ever seen. He did a lot of damage, Holloway has been poor as well, and I think deserves to go, but Megson did not help him out at all.

I'm an "abject ****nut" just like Martin Allen, as I got my votes the wrong way round

What I MEANT to vote was for Megson as the best manager, and Allen the worst. Megson being best purely because he didn't have long enough to fook us over in the way Allen/Holloway did.

Martin Allen loaded the squad with absolute shit and I believe he would have taken us down like Holloway if kept on. While the 4-1 against Watford is always being mentioned, that shameful first half performance against Forest seems to have been forgotten.

But this is almost like voting on a "which is the best smelling turd" competition.
