Uncle Albert Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 Dunno if i'm going, seems like a right dive. Ahhh. Fairplay. Luton will wack the prices up aswell for tickets aswell. Understandably.
Houdini Logic Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 Time to get your creative hats on a think of some songs for the night. I reckon songs of support (for Luton), rather than taking the piss... Suggestions?
Ashley Posted 20 July 2008 Posted 20 July 2008 You could always pay the money for his flight!! Why would I do that, when he gets them free

Maybes Posted 20 July 2008 Posted 20 July 2008 Also wonderig this, as will be driving down for the first time. There is a sainsburys car park about a 5-10 minute walk from kenilworth road. I remember for the league game we had to pay £5. Not sure what the conditions would be for this game...

Fez of Mahrez Posted 20 July 2008 Posted 20 July 2008 Alright fair enough, I will just have a look round and find somewhere to park, shouldn't be a problem. Parking around Luton's ground is brutal. It's got some weird one-way system and loads of shitty backstreets all round it. I'd get there in plenty of time.

Was planning on getting there fairly early anyway so I will hopefully have enough time to find somewhere.
backinthebigtime Posted 20 July 2008 Posted 20 July 2008 Having looked on the official Luton Town website it does give you direction to the ground and a suggestion as to where to park..and bonus its near a chippy!!
leeleic Posted 20 July 2008 Posted 20 July 2008 Alright guys, I live about 10 mins from luton. I've been to the ground a fair few times as a mate of mines a seasoned towny, and i can safely say the parking is shite! i can give ya some rough directions to the sainsbury's car park, and avoid the one way sytem but where will u be gettin of the motorway? Luton airport junction? that'll be the easiest i reckon.

From the North: Exit the M1 at Junction 11, and join the A505 towards Luton. Follow the A505 for approximately 1.5 miles and Kenilworth Road is on your right as you leave the one-way system along Dunstable Road. To park, follow the one-way around, turning left, right and right again all in about 100 yards so that you do a complete U-turn and then take the second left into Ash Road. Continue down to the bottom, turn left at the end and the club is in front of you. Continue straight past the club and the road bends immediately over a dual carriageway bridge. Beyond this is plenty of street parking (and a great fish shop) if you are early.
leeleic Posted 20 July 2008 Posted 20 July 2008 This is sounding more and more like a hard task! No fear mate, it's really not that bad. Gettin to sainsbury's is a peice of piss from the motorway. You'll only struggle if you try finding space other than that in the supermarket. Town's ground is surrounded by residential housing and all the spaces are given to the residents!
Simi Posted 21 July 2008 Posted 21 July 2008 I could really do with talking to Christopher Columbus and his sidekick. I have no idea where they are. They could still be stuck in Turkey...
