Monk Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 So who's done some of this stuff? I want to raise some money for kidney research but not in a way that involves running, anyone got any ideas? Thinking of climbing Kilimanjaro..... but it'll probably kill me.

The only fundraising I've done involves running so sadly I'm no help at all
Monk Posted 25 May 2008 Author Posted 25 May 2008 Yes. It's not the physical exertion I just despise running, but love the outdoors.

davieG Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 Visiting all the League 1 grounds, surely someone will sponsor you - Drop Mandaric & Aldridge an email they seem to be keen, Oh I nearly forgot maybe you can persuade Holloway to go with you
SamL Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 You could do a bike ride? My mate is traveling to Malawi soon to renovate a resource centre for blind people, so he cycled from Market Harborough to Skegness and back to raise funds for the trip. If you didn't want to cycle to Skeggy, what about Lands End to John O'Groats. Good luck with the fund raising.
Alexikokopops Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 You need to be careful with this fund-raising lark. A manly way to kill yourself
davieG Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 You need to be careful with this fund-raising lark. I saw that man in Morrison's this morning he'd got 4 large tins of spam, 8 tins of baked beans and 2 large packets of fruit & fibre cereal.
