Having Teeth Removed

Anyone had any teeth removed surgically?

End of July, I'm having two wisdom teeth taken out from my gums, and a canine that won't come through.

Anyone got any advice?

Thanks

Take arnica tablets for several days before/after... seems to significantly speed up the healing process.

Are you going hospital to have them done if not ask your dentist to refer you to one that administers I.F. [ you will have to pay for this] but its a walk in the park. pm me if you want anymore info had my done in 2006. cheers

I had a wisdom tooth out under local anaesthetic.

I had a gay old time. The anaesthetic didn't work, and they managed to dislocate my jaw twice.

I can look back on it now and LAUGH

Well luckily I' going to be under gnral anaesthetic, bu I'm not looking forward to the weeks afterwards.

Always a good excuse to eat lots of ice cream - assuming your teeth aren't too sensitive, that is. Or milkshakes... never before will you have had such a perfect excuse to consume complete crap (waits for TommyG to comment!). :D

Not more than me, I was your anaesthetist

And there I was thinking you were the big porter bloke that they got to pop my jaw back in.

I hope you've stopped injecting your patients with Um Bongo or whatever it was you used on me

You say laugh, but surely it's more of a chuckle with spittle running from the corner of your mouth?
