Daggers Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 As our list of Ex's grows over the summer - is anyone desperate enough to take them on? What kind of team would be prepared to give a contract to Hammond? Sturrock denies Maybury interestPlymouth manager Paul Sturrock says he will not be making a move for former Leicester City player Alan Maybury. The former Republic of Ireland player had been linked with the Home Park side to replace Paul Connolly at right-back. But Sturrock told the club's website that although he does not normally comment on speculation, he will not be signing Maybury. "Alan Maybury will not be a Plymouth Argyle player next season. He is not on my radar and never had been," he said. Maybury has been a free agent since his contract at Leicester expired at the end of last season after he spent the latter part of the term on loan at Aberdeen.
ronnup Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 As our list of Ex's grows over the summer - is anyone desperate enough to take them on?What kind of team would be prepared to give a contract to Hammond? reckon i agree here, the problem was lots of potential and 'apparent' talent that never got realised. why risk taking on an overpriced under achiever? I actually would love us to keep the squad and see if they've got any f@cking pride at all.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 As our list of Ex's grows over the summer - is anyone desperate enough to take them on? Danielle Lloyd will work her way through them over the summer I would imagine.
Mr Happy Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 Surely Levein will offer a kind home to Maybury again, as hes done with De Vries? As for the rest maybe with any luck Holloway and Allen will resign them again.
Monk Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 I said Maybreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey You're gonna be the one that saves meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee And after alllllllllllllllllll You're not very goood.
dandannieldanok Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 Maybury is good enough to play in the championship, he showed that during the first few months at Leicester. Whether it was a question of waining commitment or continually poor management, he just couldn't keep it up.
Scow Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 "Alan Maybury will not be a Plymouth Argyle player next season. He is not on my radar and never had been," Scathing attack from the fat ****er. In all fairness, this is from a man who rates Peter Gilbert.
Guest Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 There are some odd jobs that need doing around the house. Is it bob-a-job week yet?
C-man Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 In all fairness, this is from a man who rates Peter Gilbert. So how bad does that make Maybury? I'd imagine he'd rather sign our Rob.
Guest Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 As our list of Ex's grows over the summer - is anyone desperate enough to take them on?What kind of team would be prepared to give a contract to Hammond? I think we should suggest to Somerfield FC that they take Elvis I said Maybreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey You're gonna be the one that saves meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee And after alllllllllllllllllll You're not very goood. I'd have loved to have heard that sung when he played (and I use the word played in it's loosest sense)
Raj Posted 5 June 2008 Posted 5 June 2008 Rob Maybury can gloss my skirting boards. I despise glossing!!!
