lol

I think if you say Love in a German accent thats as close as you'll get to his surname.

More like when you say "lurve" actually

I think the Czech vs Turks game is going to be quality.

I really can't predict who's going to win it to be honest.

Turkey.

Can't say I've been impressed with the Czech's that much to be honest. Baros doesn't seem to be that interested and Koller is now a spent force. I fully expect Turkey to get a result.

Wouldn't disagree with you there but I've always got the feeling that the Czechs can turn it on sometimes, especially when there's so much at stake.

For the record I want a Turks win with big Colin grabbing a winner.

With Cech in goal I suppose you wouldn't rule out them grabbing a hit and run 1-0. Nihat not been great for Turkey, so it's certainly an option.

Oi oi oi. I think you're forgetting a certain Volkan Demirel. Keeper of the tournament so far.

He was pretty shocking today.

He was, then a bit of classic Jens shone through at the end when he got booked for complaining.

Was he?

One thing really notable about Croatia was the amount of times players didn't follow up on shots. Kranjcar was especially guilty of this, to be honest. The amount of times Lehmann spilled and got away with it was pretty woeful, then there was his booking.

The second goal he should really have done more with, wrong-footed is one thing, letting a loose ball spill loose at your near post is a little dozy. And that spill from Modric in the first half could have cost them a lot, lot more, too.

The man's a liability at times.

2-1 Germany

They're better in every department and after Croatia's first game against Austria, I can't see them winning this one - unless they did that on purpose to irritate the Germans.

And how do you actually pronounce Joachim Low's name? I've heard about 7 different styles. Including Yogi Love. God knows how that comes about.

Jo-ach-eem Leeuf.

Unfortunately, there are no "Umlauts" in English.

"Yogi" is his nickname, btw.

This has pissed me off no end. It means that Germany are likely to face Portugal in the quarters (the team i've backed at £5 e/w) and knowing the Germans they'll knock them out in acrimonious fashion and therefore leaving me further in the mire.

Stick yer bratwursts up yer 'arris.
