Fox in a Box Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lates...1328115,00.html Departing Chief Executive Paul Aldridge today (Friday) handed the batten to Lee Hoos - and confirmed that the club had a 'bright future' to look forward to. The Foxes revealed on Thursday that Aldridge would be stepping down from his position to pursue other business opportunities - with former Fulham and Southampton CEO Hoos coming in as his replacement. "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at this great club and I part on the best possible terms," Aldridge said. "This has been entirely my decision. Milan could not have been more supportive to me during my time here and it has been an absolute pleasure to work alongside such a passionate and committed chairman. "There are some fantastic people at this football club and I have got no doubt in my mind that there are some great times just around the corner. "I will remain a friend to Milan and the club and look forward to future return visits to the stadium." And in Hoos, Aldridge believes the club have found his ideal replacement. He added: "I have known Lee for 10 years and I had no hesitation in recommending him to Milan. He knows the industry inside out and in my opinion he will be a great asset to Leicester City Football Club. "He has experienced this division from his time with Fulham and he oversaw something of a revolution at Craven Cottage. I wish Milan, Lee and the club every success for the future."

Dont patronise us, you jerkoff. It was so great he left. Why couldn't he just go quietly.
DBEightyFive Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 The OS is just space filling (journo-bullshit style) as they've got naff all else to tell us about!!
Guest Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Is it just me or does anybody else feel a little less optimistic each time a message of supposed 'confidence' regarding the club's future comes out? I wish he'd just gone quietly to be honest, he was hardly here for any time at all and I feel messages like this are actually quite patronising EDIT: I've just seen that Maybes had said exactly the same thing so I'll just say I agree
Father Ted Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 It is now you've fooked off. Exactly what I was about to say

That's slightly contradictory, because we won't.
