Daggers Posted 21 June 2008 Posted 21 June 2008 I may be wrong - but isn't that our unluckiest kit (last season not included)? So bad the club ditched the colour scheme never for it to return?

It's in my size. An old shirt. In my size. I want. Unless anyone else has any old 80's kits they don't want anymore in the larger childrens sizes. Obviously the red Admiral kit would be top of the list.

Guest Posted 21 June 2008 Posted 21 June 2008 this shirt is horrible ive just bid on an away shirt from 1990 really want the home shirt too but cant find it Saw it, but unfortunately (or fortunately for you), it's too big for me. Surely someone, somewhere has a shirt with Ind Coope on it, from when they were about 11-13 that they have no need for now. Please?

Father Ted Posted 22 June 2008 Posted 22 June 2008 I now own this! £10.50 Bargain! If you keep buying old football shirts you won't have much money left...!
Kilworthfox Posted 22 June 2008 Author Posted 22 June 2008 If you keep buying old football shirts you won't have much money left...! Well depends how much spare cash you have spare! It's hard for us students
Ultra Posted 22 June 2008 Posted 22 June 2008 I may be wrong - but isn't that our unluckiest kit (last season not included)? So bad the club ditched the colour scheme never for it to return? Correct. We won just ONCE while wearing it, against Chelsea in a League Cup second leg in 1983 (and even then, we lost a penalty shoot-out). The season afterwards, we ended up wearing an old England red away kit. Not one of Admiral's finest efforts, though thankfully not as dire as their away kit for Cov in the early 80s..
Guest Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 that was the first Leicester kit I ever owned!!!I can remember it being really itchy and being really tight around the arms, because of the elastic bit!! didn't stop me wearing it though You are right about the arms! This shirt also confirms to me that sizes are getting bigger. I did think it was dodgy that a woman of my age could comfortably fit into a footy shirt aged 10-11! Whilst the old shirt fits, it is definitely a skinny fit!
Basingstoke Fox Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Oh dear when i saw that thread title i was quite worried, thank god it was just a football shirt.
Guest Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 well hopefully i wil be wearing it next season im going to bid on the other shirt and if i win i will give it my g/f and if i dont win i will be happy because lisa would have paid siily money for the shirt Did the girlfriend like the shirt or not?
