Harry Kewell

Attaching themselves to the club doesn't mean they're a part of the club. Any old twat can support a certain club, that shouldn't reflect on the club itself.

Well unfortunatley it does, which is why clubs like Milwall, United and Chelsea have all had bad reputations in the past. And Leeds for that matter.

It's very easy to say the men behind the stabbings aren't Galatasary fans, but the fact is they were.

So by Leeds fans theories we can no longer play in Germany as the Germans killed many English during the war?

Yes, and if someone you know gets run over by a bus YOU CAN NEVER GO ON A BUS EVER AGAIN

Thats not the same is it. The examples people are using are incredible poor.

Talk to people who were actually alive during the war, or even fought in the war, and alot of them tend to not hold the Germans in a very high regard. Modern society accepts that.

Harry Kewell was at Leeds when this happened, was part of the squad, claimed to love Leeds United, probable even spoke out about how terrible it was etc etc, he knows what Leeds United fans think. I think it lacks respect. Especially, and I'm starting to labour this point a bit now I know but no one seems to be taking it on board, It would of been quite easy for him to go somewhere else.

I don't know who anyone can take the moral high ground anyway half of you lot threw a hissy fit when Lennon went to Forest.

I don't know anything about what happened to two Leed's fans (prior to looking on Google) but people slating Kewell? Nothing wrong with that :) :)

Those clubs' fans had reputations for repeatedly having a minority of violent morons in their ranks. Or in Leeds case, a majority. Leeds fans got stabbed by a Galatasary fan once. That says nothing about the club or particularly its fans, unless they stab people a lot and I'm not aware about it?

The Leeds fans are angry about a one-off, not a reputation sustained over time. I'd have more sympathy if they were complaining about him going to Man U or something.

I'm sure people saying they don't see the problem would feel differently if two of your mates had been stabbed by Red Star fans in Vienna and then Muzzy Izzet had fooked off to Belgrade.

I wouldn't give two shits, though if they were actual mates I could understand the overreaction thats gone on here.

Maybe it would, but I couldn't see people on here saying they'd want him to die or slag off his wife for no reason.

I can see the problem, but some of the comments on that site are over the top and not called for.

I don't care about where he has gone, I remember when Leeds fans were at Filbert Street singing your just a town full off Paki's.

Peter Risdale then came out and said he didn't hear it ****!

No it was done in a riot started by a large number of their moronic fan base. Who are a part of the club.

Where's your evidence for this?:unsure::unsure::unsure::unsure:

There was nothing whatsoever to link Galatasaray with the murders, whatever the tales put out by Leeds fans might say.

Some accounts say that Leeds fans themselves provoked the trouble. I wouldn't be surprised - many of them don't exactly respect non-white residents of their own town, let alone abroad.

Kewell moved from Leeds five years ago. Where he chooses to ply his trade is a matter for him and his family alone.

If Leeds fans wish to wallow in the sewer AGAIN, let them.

Evidence? have you not seen the vidoes.

Although it doesn't happen quite as much as it used to the Turks like a good boot off espeically the Galatasaray fans.

If Harry Kewell didn't claim to love the club and owe them a debt for everything they did for him, I wouldn't mind. He shat on the club from a great height when he moved to Liverpool and he's done it again here.

I was in Vienna. I saw and heard what Crvena Zvezda fans did there.

I wouldn't link it to the Crvena Zvezda fan that owns our club, though..

And Leeds don't?? :o:rolleyes:

The truth was that Leeds were already massively in debt by then and couldn't afford to keep him.

If he's landed another big payday after all the injuries he had at Anfield, he's a VERY lucky man. We may envy him (and his agent), but don't let that envy develop into bitter and irrational hate.

 Not on the internet, as two people died in the riot in question. I ment at the time on the news.

Just a bit of general turkish chaos there.

Im well aware they couldn't afford to keep him, they still got screwed out millions of pounds by Kewell and his agent.

And Im not Bitter at all I don't give a toss what he does, I simple understand the Leeds fans right to be upset. Saying that they hope he dies etc is obviously over the top, but then, they are Leeds fans.
