The players are owned 50% and the clubs agree which club the player will play at. Either side can attempt to buy out the other teams 50% at any stage. when the co-ownership comes to an end the clubs either renegotiate or enter into a bidding war to see who gets the player in question. Sort of . EDIT: Oh and terrilble news, good young player.
