For starters, my appeal (if I have any) isn't instant, and it usually takes me ages to decide if I like someone else. No wonder I'm headed for extinction.I need snail dating, and I don't mean trying to pull a gastropod Gastrosexual.

I've tried to recruit a few work colleagues to come with me, the weird thing is my office has almost 100 people working in it and almost everyone is either married or engaged, I guess thats not too weird but everyone is quite young, I'm 33 and I'm one of the older ones. Anyway I was discussing it at lunch and no-one was interested but as I left the food hall someone called my name it was someone who works in our customer services office, someone who I've seen around but never spoke too, he's a little bit of a nerd, sits on his on at lunch, you know the type. He asked me if he could go, what could I say? I said great So me and Paul will be going on Friday after work. I'll still try and get more people to come. I think I'm more nervous about going with Paul than the actual speed dating.

Monk Posted 21 July 2008 Posted 21 July 2008 I did speed dating when i was younger....most of my dates very rarely lasted more than a day!!! Not that surprising really is it Raj?
