Chairman of the Bored Posted 2 August 2008 Posted 2 August 2008 Anyone know if the club produced a lowlights of last season DVD? I have every one since 89/90 and it would be unfortunate to break the sequence, even though it was such a poor one.
Moreton Posted 2 August 2008 Posted 2 August 2008 I don't think that they will do one. They didn't do one for the 2006/2007 Season either.
Matt Posted 2 August 2008 Posted 2 August 2008 I think i'd find it an insult for them to produce one. Don't get me wrong I understand you want it because you have a collection but personally I would be disgusted should such a DVD ever be on sale in the club, I throw it back in there faces even if they attempted to give it me.

I think this year you're just going to have to accept they won't make one.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 2 August 2008 Author Posted 2 August 2008 They produced DVDs when we got relegated from the Prem. Just good from a historical point of view. In 5 years time when we are top of the Prem again it would have been good to look back on to see where we started from
Mack Posted 2 August 2008 Posted 2 August 2008 It's not a bad idea. And it could come at a very reasonable price of -£300, which I about what I reckon they owe me from last season. Maybe also with a little FREEPOST 'tell Milan your thoughts' form to aid in healing wounds a little further. And a clip over dartboard paper of Holloway and his donkey Howard. Do I sound pissed off???? GOOD!
Chairman of the Bored Posted 2 August 2008 Author Posted 2 August 2008 Do I sound pissed off???? GOOD! Just bitter and twisted. Time to move on. In years to come last aeason will be viewed as the "starting point" not the end point. Onwards and upwards. Or summat.
Stevosevic Posted 2 August 2008 Posted 2 August 2008 I would buy it because i like to have a copy of every season. However i won't watch it until we are back in the top flight when it won't be as painful.
Corky Posted 2 August 2008 Posted 2 August 2008 They will find a way of showing them on a DVD, mixed in with a Steve Walsh tribute or every Gary Lineker goal that he scored for us.
Mack Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Just bitter and twisted. Time to move on. In years to come last aeason will be viewed as the "starting point" not the end point. Onwards and upwards. Or summat. I wish I could share your optimism. The way I see it, they have downgraded the team to match the league and we are in for a lengthy stay in lower league football.

Don't agree that the teams been downgraded to match the league. I actually think the team looks better than last seasons, certainly got more balance about it. We may have lost Stearman, Hume and McAuley but have made some very promising signings plus have the Max factor to look forward to this season!
demon_dog Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 It would be handy hanging in the garden to scare off birds. (The feathered variety)
Tommeh Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 We may have gone down last season and the potential dvd would contain very few "highlights" but I sure as hell would pay £15 to see big carl bag at chelsea and the fans reactions. And also the roar of 300 when Hume equalised at Bunrleeeeee
