Asha Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 I'm getting EMA etc. soon hopefully and still have a little birthday money left and also intend to get a job. Have decided i need to start buying clothes. Atm, in terms of bottoms - I only have primark jeans. Nothing else. Got a few decent t-shirts like emo style and obviously Leicester shirt etc...got couple of hoodies which are ok maybe need more. Basically that's it. I need trackies, better jeans, a jacket maybe... Definately need something to wear for nights out/parties etc. And atm I have no idea what. I'm a bit tired of looking like whatever I wear is from Tesco, bought for me by me mom, which in reality wouldn't be far wrong. Any ideas for these areas and where to find them? Any help appreciated
Asha Posted 3 August 2008 Author Posted 3 August 2008 Tk Maxx In Leicester I go to. That's a shout. Do like the look of this for casual. Although, the website's a bit shit no mention of the price etc.
lavrentis Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 yeah I think you have to sign up but just take a visit next time your in Leicester.
BoneHead. Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 USC,Republic,Topman,Scotts and JD do all the best gear not cheap most of the time but best stuff!
Libertine Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Topman definitely. Maybe Topgirl too. For more 'emo' kind of stuff try Hot Topic or Grindstore. Others too.
Guest Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 I buy some t-shirts/shirts etc. from Blackleaf.com. Loadsa skate/snowboard type wear if you like that kinda stuff. Fairly decent prices too. If I'm looking more smart casual then places like Esprit do some decently priced nice looking clothes. My fave store is the Fenchurch store just over the road at Covent Garden, but you can get load of their clothes from TK Maxx these days too to be fair Of course, me living in London helps for that kinda thing but most stores sell online anyway
Tabou Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 ***Specialist subject alerttttt***** Tabou's fashion tip for the day:- It's not what you wear, it's how you wear it. Only ever wear things that make you feel good. Never wear something just because it looks good on someone else or on the manakin. Thank you.
Tabou Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 That will be what I'm wearing for Saturday. Along with the gimp mask. (Given).
Zingari Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 i thought you were having problems with an MFI flat-pack assembly
Daggers Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Also, if anyone else loves their clothes still smelling of stale urine and as warm from the corpse as I do...
MikeyT Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Wife#1's favourite store. Fact. Haha, i'll admit i own a couple of tees and a pair of jeans from there!

They do some nice stuff, some items are cheap. The ones i know of are in Town, up Fosse Park and in Loughborough.
