FilboFox Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Hmm... I was wondering that as well... next Cottee being what exactly... I don't think he'll be as liked as Cottee as he was around and formed the 'little and large' partnership up front with Heskey which was fairly prominent.
awaydayblue Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 thought exactly that as soon as i saw the nuymber 27
Darkzzz_ Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 No chance. The face I am pulling now is that of Master Foxes second Signature picture.
shen Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Howard/Dickov to be the next (lesser) Deane/Dickov more likely...
Thracian Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 That's exactly what I'm hoping. I did think that Fryat would have developed some near post instincts by now but he hasn't so Dickov, as someone has already suggested, ought to be the perfect teacher. And not just for this aspect but for his attitude and willingness to hunt for goals out of nothing. People have tried to separate our strikers into best and worst with all things in between but you cannot do that - they are different and each with their own particular strengths. What pleases me is that the combined strengths are considerable. And with the wingers offering such promising supply lines I see no reason all four main strikers shouldn't reap bumper harvests this year. In contrast to previous seasons, it's not scoring that concerns me it's keeping goals out and whether we an maintain presure from midfield. .
Fox You Forest Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 He's leaving us for Norwich? He's leaving? On that midnight train to georgia?
