Don't shout it too loud but we have scored in every game so far, including friendly's of course.

I know that this will come to an end sometime but from what I have seen, compared to last season, we are getting more men in the box when we attack.

Long may this approach continue.

If you read the post correctly it did state including friendly's.

I know it was a while ago when I left school but I make that 10 games.

Friendlies can't really count... they were lesser opposition for most of them and we've only played 2 games so far... and one was a dodgy 1-0 win with MANY missed chances... yes, it's great we are scoring in every game but they will have to take their chances... something which, by the sounds of it, they weren't doing against Stockport.

The big thing for me has been the creation of chances not the taking of them. Bit of width, bit of pace, bit of determination that's all it takes. We still need someone in the middle to thread a pass or make a late break from the midfield - in a year or two it'll be Andy King - but at the moment it's going alright.

Pearson's tactics might prove the biggest brake on City's scoring potential but personnel wise I see no reason we shouldn't be prolific scorers this season and perhaps even capable of scoring in every game given the right encouragement from fans and manager.

I don't see how Pearson has encouraged us to defend once we're ahead. We could have extended our lead last night with better finishing and I just thought MK Dons came into the game more on Saturday because they started to play better rather than our tactics :dunno:

Saturday's tactics have already been discussed at length but I thought we were ridiculously cautious last night until their centre-back was sent off. First 15 minutes we seemed to set up a border patrol on and backwards of the halfway line with only a handful of token sorties into enemy territory.

Yes I understand that, but afterwards we attacked and should have scored more goals. I am pleased we are winning when not playing brilliantly, as the season progresses we will play much better on a consistent basis, and win in real style.

:D
