People like Guppy, Glover, Stringfellow, Derek Hogg and Howard Riley.I know it's a claim that will get folk going. And, all had their strengths. Gradel always showed great promise but for whatever reasons he's matured beyond belief these last 12 months and now seems to revel in and even relish all aspects of the game, even defensive duties. A real star in the making to my mind and I don't use the term lightly. i've certainly not heard you got OTT about our younger players before

knowitall Posted 14 August 2008 Posted 14 August 2008 Same difference really. I know the reasoning behind this. He agreed to a 3 year deal when he was still very much under-rated by this club. Since his return from Bournemouth, he's shown everyone how good he really is here and they've stumped up more cash to make sure we keep him here. He deserves it, i'd have given him a 10 year deal on £50,000 IMO. This is correct.
