Guest Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 But if we make it to the third round of the FA Cup then we have to play them on a cold tuesday night in January. Almost best to get it out the way That is exactly what I am saying to Carl. He is not convinced.
syston_fox Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 That is exactly what I am saying to Carl. He is not convinced. Possibly nice evening in September.... or snowy night in January? OR both? Also I havent missed a game since January 1st so it seems a shame to end that run.
Koke Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 I must be on some strong shit if I ever go to Hartlepool on a Tuesday night for a tin pot competition.

syston_fox Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 Try 1995 Looks like you'll be there then I think I might wait until I see ticket prices etc before committing to this!
lildave3 Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 Your chances went yesterday with one flippant comment. What was this?
lildave3 Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 "I'd feel safer if he was driving". That wasn't even me!
Guest Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 That wasn't even me! I'm sure it was. Either way, I am protesting, and I am not driving to this game. Carl is in the doghouse too, as he didn't jump to my defence. Ha!

Guest Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 It was Jamie!I clearly wouldn't say anything like that. (Although I obviously agree) Too late. I would rather walk, Berniesque, than offer anyone a lift.
lildave3 Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 Too late. I would rather walk, Berniesque, than offer anyone a lift. Fine. Then I shall steal your car, drive half a mile, then crash due to not being able to see above the steering wheel. Then I shall promptly hitchhike to Hartlepool.

lildave3 Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 I'm so tempted by this is dangerous. I smell a road trip 4 SPACES GOING I'll claim. As long as fees aren't ridiculous of course.
Joe. Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 I'm interested Tommeh. As lildave says, as long as prices aren't silly.
Tommeh Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 £20 each? No seriously, fuel will be £25-30 I'll split accordingly when i know how many I'll ask shaun and Jon and provided I can get last 2 hours of work we should be good to go
Kilworthfox Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 Not goin mickey mouse cup! I wanted Leeds! Boooo

What fuel economy does your car do?! I worked it out at least £40 from Leicester at around 40mpg. It's about 330 mile round trip. From Reading it's a 570 mile round trip. Fez is trying to convince me to go...
Hullfox Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 Not goin mickey mouse cup! I wanted Leeds! Boooo Take it you wouldn't go to Wembley then?
Thracian Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 Whatever the joys of having to travel to Hartlepool in the Cup I reckon the need to take em seriously and the "little congregation" need to look out in particular for their 21-year-old striker, "good old Jimmy" Brown. Manager Danny Wilson singled Brown out after his brace helped Pool beat Colchester United 4-2. After his two goals in two minutes Wilson said: "It wasn't just one flash of inspiration," "he tortured the back four all the time". Brown got another goal in the 3-0 win over S****horpe too.
