Anyone know why The Albion dont have a shirt sponsor this year? :dunno:

There was something a while back in the BBC Gossip column saying that they might start the season without a shirt sponsor.

Cant remember why though.

Already a goal for Arsenal, and I'm sure they'll have several more before the final whistle.

Nice goal aswell.

Bendtner over Van Persie though? :dunno:

Other then the goal boring first half IMO.

Vela and V.Persie will change the game when they come on

Can't see Van Persie being risked (aparently he has a bit of a niggle) unless West Brom can musture a goal from somewhere.

Vela I think will get an opportunity

i started flicking to the athletics, and have kinda stayed there, i mean arsenal look great, but WB seem very resilient...

Pundits are idiots.

I was watching an ESPN/Star Sports feed from Asia and their "expert" (sounded like he was Scottish, but I didn't catch his name nor recognize him as a former player). He was asked why Arsenal didn't build up a bigger lead despite dominating the first half, and he said that Arsenal needed to get more "width." After that, when asked what Arsène Wenger is telling his team at halftime, he said, "He's telling them to keep their composure, to be more clinical in the final third of the pitch."

No, dickhead, that's what everybody watching at the pub who have had a few drinks are saying at halftime. I bet Monsieur Wenger has a much better grasp on what's going on and what to tell his team.

I was stunned by such analysis, which was completely devoid of ... well, actual analysis. Then I realized what I'd forgotten over the past few months: just about all football punditry is chock full of generalities, clichés, and talking about what players are "quality."

Football's back!

Please, someone explain to me how Arsenal are 'such a good team to watch' and why people wank over them so much, Everyone knows my hate for Arsenal and no doubt i'm abit bias but trying to take as much unbias view as I can Arsenal are a very boring team to watch IMO, what is so great about them.

Normally I watch Arsenal games because I support the team the playing 99% of the time and love watching people wind Arsenal up, however today I just got bored by 20 minutes gone I just had to turn over.

just tuned into the everton blackburn game... looks kinda meaty, players flying in everywhere....

Boro 0-0 Spurs in the 55th minute.

After Spurs' great preseason, I'm surprised to see Boro really having the upper hand.

Berbatov on the bench for Tottenham, probabl resting up for his big move. (just got up to warm up, though)
