Pearson keen not to meddle much

Good attitude to have, I think it would be disrespectful to the fans to go there and change the side a lot.

I, personally, don't buy into the cups meaning nothing and we need to focus on the league. Hope we give a good account of ourselves.

The right attitude IMO. The confidence this team could get if they do a number on Fulham would be priceless. If we get pummeled, we can put it down to concentrating on the league.

I would be tempted to start Adams, and bring Gradel on if we need him. Fulham won't know what's hit them when he limbers up in the second half. Before anyone mentions it, the reason for this would be because Max is carrying a knock and no point chancing it unless necessary.

I think it will be a competative game, we are on a high and they have also made a good start. It will be nice to see some of our younguns out there vs a higher class set of players and how they fayre.

I think there is a chance of an upset just like there was last time, LCFC this year will be no pushovers! Get into em!

Couldn't agree more altough if I know Max he'll be desperate to play. He just loves the big occasion.

At least when Pearson talks he does sound as if he knows what he's on about and will consider his options properly.

I just hope it goes well for him and his young side. It could be another important confidence and togetherness booster and I'd just love us to do ourselves justice and send the message into the football world that we've got a team worth watching again.

I want to see Max playing, and as you say, you just get the sense that the bigger and better the opposition, the more he'll raise his game. But i'd rather we give him the last 20/25 mins when Fulham are tired and perhaps in their comfort zones and Max can do the damage and leave some in the tank for the other up and coming games. Plus, I thought Adams had more of a spring in his step when he came on on saturday and he deserves some more first team football to find his form.

I like Pearson a lot.

Good solid approach this. No point throwing a possible cup run away, want to give the players a run out and want to entertain the fans but not at all cost as promotion is key. A couple of changes, have another look at one or two and not take any chances on fitness. Exactly what we need.

Pearson's ticking all the right boxes at the moment, it's impressive. He's a man who is honest and doesn't get carried away with things.

I think he's right by not making to many changes. The team's settled into this division well and they should be kept together for as long as possible currently until changes are enforced. And I'd also like to think we'd make a good go of trying to get as far as possible in the Carling Cup, it's a competition that's served us up some classic matches in recent years.

I'm going down with the attitude that we'll get beat (2-1 imo) just so I won't feel pissed off for the two hours on the train home. A win will be a massive bonus and this with a team doing well in the league will only spur them on for Saturday.

We could be top of the league come Saturday and that is going to be a great morale booster for the hard matches to come.

i agree with concentrating on the league its the most important but also wouldnt mind beating them tonight and as for the team situation change things around and dont use max till 20 min before the end , we need to keep a good fresh team for sat
