AjcW Posted 28 September 2009 Posted 28 September 2009 Galatasaray drew So Fener are two points clear at the top. Whats Galas football looking like, any rijkard influence?
dandannieldanok Posted 28 September 2009 Posted 28 September 2009 Milan are awful. Lacking inspiration and a clinical out-and-out striker. Inzaghi still has class but isn't really the kind of guy to lead the line on his own.
Budweiser Posted 28 September 2009 Posted 28 September 2009 Milan are absolute shite. Agreed They are terrible, if they make it into the top 4 at the end of the season I will be stunned!
lildave3 Posted 28 September 2009 Posted 28 September 2009 Whats Galas football looking like, any rijkard influence? Couldn't really say, don't watch them apart from highlights.
Darkzzz_ Posted 28 September 2009 Author Posted 28 September 2009 Lacking inspiration and a clinical out-and-out striker. Inzaghi still has class but isn't really the kind of guy to lead the line on his own. I feel for Pirlo too, he is a quality player but doesn't have the support at times. He often gets picked on for being a bad player, it's mainly due to the fact that he is more intelligent than the others and they don't anticipate his class. Agreed They are terrible, if they make it into the top 4 at the end of the season I will be stunned! I will be stunned if they make the top 6. There are 6 teams better than them easily.
Darkzzz_ Posted 3 October 2009 Author Posted 3 October 2009 Possession wise it was comfortable for Barca but I really want to focus my attention on praising their opposition tonight, Almeria. They worked so hard tonight and really went at Barca which I like to see, a small team with a bit of ambition and they could have snatched something had they had a little more quality. So another 3 points which is great, the Sevilla V Madrid game will be interesting tomorrow, a first real test for Los Blancos, maybe?

Barca were in a very low gear tonight though. However I would like to focus my praise on the birth of a definate star.. in Pedro. Fantastic finish(First in La Liga) and a top quality performance, Barcas never ending production line continues.
lildave3 Posted 4 October 2009 Posted 4 October 2009 Fenerbahce 1-0 up against Gençlerbirliği, Alex. Finished 3-0, Alex 2 and Lugano got one. Going into this set of fixtures, there were 4 unbeaten teams in the league after 7 games. Now there is just one - Fener. Galatasaray lost 3-0 to Ankaragucu which was a real surprise, but it leaves Fenerbahce 5 points clear. 8 games played, 8 wins. Brilliant. And now i'm watching Real, no Ronaldo And they're losing 1-0 <_< Good goal tbf.
Sparky Posted 4 October 2009 Posted 4 October 2009 Anyone just see that save from Casillas ? Right out of the top draw
Budweiser Posted 4 October 2009 Posted 4 October 2009 Casillas is the best goalie in the world by a mile. Galatasaray Fener are *****.
Darkzzz_ Posted 4 October 2009 Author Posted 4 October 2009 Sevilla... Many teams will struggle there to be honest and Manolo has them playing some good football, they deserved their win tonight.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 October 2009 Posted 4 October 2009 GET IN! Fantastic. Sevilla are unplayable at home sometimes, the pace down the flanks is scary and two big physical strikers. They are more old-style English than any Premiership side. Brilliant.
AjcW Posted 4 October 2009 Posted 4 October 2009 Sevilla :). Ahhh that was so satisfying, we scrape a win last night and Real are outclassed by a Sevilla side that could well make the galacticos the third team in spain this season if they keep it up.
Darkzzz_ Posted 4 October 2009 Author Posted 4 October 2009 Early days yet. I just hope Sevilla can push these two all the way, would love Valencia to make it a 4 horse race. That would be far more entertaining.

That would be far more entertaining. Valencia have looked good early on, but if we know anything about them its that they have a tendency to capitulate at any time, I thing monitoring their spending in January might be interesting, no more panic bad buys and they may well have something good going for them this season.
lildave3 Posted 5 October 2009 Posted 5 October 2009 You see, that's what happens when the best player in the world is missing
Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 October 2009 Posted 5 October 2009 You see, that's what happens when the best player in the world is missing He's always missing, he plays for Barcelona.
AjcW Posted 5 October 2009 Posted 5 October 2009 He's always missing, he plays for Barcelona. Ronaldo is class though, and kaka has not settled yet, playing in the wrong position in my opinion. Real need to avoid becoming a one man team this season, there mistake this year in my opinion was selling sneijder and robben. MADNESS.
lildave3 Posted 5 October 2009 Posted 5 October 2009 It makes me chuckle how all these Galacticos arrive yet still Guti worms his way into the side.
AjcW Posted 5 October 2009 Posted 5 October 2009 It makes me chuckle how all these Galacticos arrive yet still Guti worms his way into the side. He was appalling last night.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 7 October 2009 Posted 7 October 2009 I rate Guti, you don't play for a top side like Real for as long as he has if you're not up to it.
sdb Posted 7 October 2009 Posted 7 October 2009 I rate Guti, you don't play for a top side like Real for as long as he has if you're not up to it. unless you're Raul
Darkzzz_ Posted 17 October 2009 Author Posted 17 October 2009 Same old Madrid. Just can't defend at all.
