EDIT: just looking at their fixtures, since October they have lost every game 3 nil Must be some sort of boycott i imagine

They're winning the title at this moment in time.

StanSP Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Barcelona 4-0 up . Messi just scored his 2nd goal, meaning he has just equalled Ronaldo's Barcelona record of 34 league goals in a season.
StanSP Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Barcelona are La Liga 2009/2010 winners with 4-0 win over Valladolid. Finish on a La Liga record of 99 points. Tad unlucky they couldn't make 100!

The Doctor Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 The blue brazil (Cowdenbeath) are promoted to the scottish divison 1 (scottish equvilant of the championship) having won 3-0 against brechin city. Cowdenbeath were only promoted to the 2nd division last summer due to livingston falling into the financial mire and being relegated through to division 3. Back in the 2nd tier after 20 years away.

Big fan of that, I love Cowdenbeath. It's not a football accumulator unless it contains Cowdenbeath.
lcfc_jme Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Big fan of that, I love Cowdenbeath. It's not a football accumulator unless it contains Cowdenbeath. True story. In other news, Bayern pasted Werder Bremen 4-0 yesterday to win the German Cup, adding to their league title and keeping their treble hopes alive in what has been a quality season for them. Only the small task of Mourinho's Italian Champions Inter Milan standing in their way. Not too hard, eh..? A proper Champions League final. Go figure..
lcfc_jme Posted 17 May 2010 Posted 17 May 2010 The final last year was played between two champions... Own goal on my part there, then! Guess because it's not an English side this season (thanfully) it's more important to me to notice something like that. That's what I'm going for, anyway.
StanSP Posted 17 May 2010 Posted 17 May 2010 Both teams going for trebles. Brilliant. Glad I changed my shift at work for Saturday!
Finnegan Posted 17 May 2010 Posted 17 May 2010 : because it's not an English side this season (thanfully) it's more important to me to notice something like that. Pft. You're not a proper England hater. Finals with English teams in are way more important - then you've got someone to cheer against.
FoxyPV Posted 17 May 2010 Posted 17 May 2010 Pft. You're not a proper England hater. Finals with Any match with English teams in are way more important - then you've got someone to cheer against. Bar of course Leicester
Floating Fox Posted 17 May 2010 Posted 17 May 2010 Cant believe no-one picked up on Buraspor winning the Turkish league.... First time EVER a team outside the "big 4" has won it over there I believe...MASSIVE NEWS
shen Posted 18 May 2010 Posted 18 May 2010 Cant believe no-one picked up on Buraspor winning the Turkish league.... First time EVER a team outside the "big 4" has won it over there I believe...MASSIVE NEWS Calling Trabzonspor big is a bit far-fetched, but you're right, it is a great achievement!

MC Prussian Posted 18 May 2010 Posted 18 May 2010 Ssssshhhhh <_< Fener blew it on the last day. Apparently, the Fenerbahçe stadium speaker announced the wrong Bursaspor result at half-time, and the home team settled for a draw, believing they had already won the league. Needless to say, the Fenerbahçe president physically attacked the announcer at FT and the Sukru Sarakoglu was almost torn to shreds by its very own fans - 10m Euros in damage.
Finnegan Posted 20 May 2010 Posted 20 May 2010 Any other country in the world and nobody would believe that story.

Floating Fox Posted 2 June 2010 Posted 2 June 2010 Just read about what happened in turkey. This video shows the last few minutes of the game where you see Fener attacking like mad, hear the PA announcer and then the team just sit back, all the fans run onto the pitch thinking they've won as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7YO7q4vgGw
