Darkzzz_ Posted 17 October 2009 Author Posted 17 October 2009 Higuain what a goal. Argentinian's scoring I don't mind that. :-)
Nugent Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 Higuain what a goal. Argentinian's scoring I don't mind that. :-) Cheers for the reminder! Shame there's only 8 mins left.
Darkzzz_ Posted 17 October 2009 Author Posted 17 October 2009 Cheers for the reminder!Shame there's only 8 mins left. Great going forward. They're are awful at the back. Have a hunch that Barca will get beat tonight, of course I hope I'm wrong though.
Budweiser Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 Great going forward. They're are awful at the back.Have a hunch that Barca will get beat tonight, of course I hope I'm wrong though. Who are Barca playing and are they on Sky?
Darkzzz_ Posted 17 October 2009 Author Posted 17 October 2009 Who are Barca playing and are they on Sky? They're playing Valencia. It's on Sky. Valencia should be winning this, they are playing some excellent football, Barca can't handle them at the moment.
Darkzzz_ Posted 17 October 2009 Author Posted 17 October 2009 Inter really put Genoa in their place tonight. 0-5 the final score. Check Stankovic's finish on the 1:20 mark. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRn-qqhH_vs
Darkzzz_ Posted 17 October 2009 Author Posted 17 October 2009 Dani Alves is a player I really dislike, what a complete ****. I hate his play acting. Well done ref for letting the play go on, I would have sent the cock sucker off.
Mikey Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 Inter were awesome earlier. Beat Genoa 5-0 without Eto'o and Milito. Class.
Darkzzz_ Posted 17 October 2009 Author Posted 17 October 2009 Inter were awesome earlier. Beat Genoa 5-0 without Eto'o and Milito. Class. I had the game recorded but seen the goals. Couldn't resist. Absolutely class. Like you say, they had key players missing.
lildave3 Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 Fenerbahce have finally been defeated. Gaziantepspor came from behind to win 2-1. Semih bagged for Fener. Still top though, 5 points ahead of Galatasaray but they have a game in hand.
Darkzzz_ Posted 19 October 2009 Author Posted 19 October 2009 Atletico Madrid are going to get destroyed by Chelsea, what an awful mess that team is. Good on Xerez too, beating the even worse than Atletico, Villarreal.
AjcW Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 Atletico Madrid are going to get destroyed by Chelsea, what an awful mess that team is. Watched the highlights. Its a real shame, some individual quality but no one seemed interested in the slightest to play as a team. Its as if the "Stars" of the team are treating every week like another chance to do something individually brilliant and get signed. If they had focussed themselves at the start of the season, and actually signed something that loosely resembles a defence then they could of challenged this year. I fancy chelsea to stick 4 past them to be honest. Other games I caught this weekend: Bilbao 1-2 Sporting: Bilbao before this game were definitely most improved team in spain but I think that mantle will have to be passed to Sporting Gijon after a very well deserved win. They(unlike Atletico) have sorted out alot of there defensive frailties and look a much stronger unit, sitting 7th in the league. Inter 5-0 Genoa: Get In . Fantastic performance in another potential banana skin fixture, especially without Samuel Etwhooo. Such an organised team, however they still find time to put together some great football thats alot easier on the eye than many previous Inter teams. Barca 0-0 Valencia:  Watched this after a disapointing day for my three other teams(Chels, Leicester and Newcastle)... What a shit day! Barcelona looked week without Ibra and Henry, Messi obviously very jaded from his international exploits. Credit to valencia though, they look much stronger this season, my tip for third place this year. Sporting v Real next week, big test for sporting and Barca have got Zaragoza.
TrickyTrev Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 I rate Guti, you don't play for a top side like Real for as long as he has if you're not up to it. Unless you're Guti. Real have always padded out their side with sub standard players from their academy. The likes of Pavon and Raul Bravo spring to mind, clearly being out of their depth. Guti is the worst case of this, Real have been carrying round a guy in the centre of their midfield who ability wise shouldn't get a look in for the best part of a decade.

I had to laugh when I flicked it on and saw them 3-0 down Comedy. Caught a bit of Milan/Roma aswell, quite amazing to see how much their standards have slipped.
Father Ted Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 Did anybody else watch AC v Roma last night? Good quality match imo with typical Italian drama. Great play by Ronaldinho and great finish by Pato for the 2nd goal.

They are awful. If Chelsea don't score four I will be shocked. Milan and Roma, two poor Serie A teams (at the moment), boring game, the best game was probably Napoli for me, coming back to win the game 2-1 with late goals.
MC Prussian Posted 24 October 2009 Posted 24 October 2009 Schalke have just announced that they are 137 million € in debt, plus another 100 million € in payables.
Hitesh Posted 24 October 2009 Posted 24 October 2009 Schalke have just announced that they are 137 million € in debt, plus another 100 million € in payables. Woah! How did that happen?? What do you mean by payables btw??
Budweiser Posted 24 October 2009 Posted 24 October 2009 Schalke have just announced that they are 137 million € in debt, plus another 100 million € in payables. Fuck me. It's only a matter of time before one of the big boys go. Bigger than Schalke.
MC Prussian Posted 24 October 2009 Posted 24 October 2009 Woah! How did that happen?? What do you mean by payables btw?? Payables = debt. (more or less) So in total, we're looking at 237 million €. How it happened? Construction and maintainance costs for the Schalke Veltins-Arena. They borrowed 83 million Euro from an investor in London (Prudential Trustee Company Limited) in 2003. And the Schalke Holding Inc. has several companies that shift money around in the system, wherever and whenever it is needed. In the worst case, should no measures been taken by the club to minimize its debts, there's going to be a fine, a points deduction, relegation or a combination of all three.

Ouch, sounds like its a right mess over there!
lildave3 Posted 24 October 2009 Posted 24 October 2009 It's the big one tomorrow, Fenerbahce v Galatasaray. Cannot wait.
AjcW Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Cesar in a pink kit with pink UnderArmour® hmmmmmm . I wish sky would go back to being able to view the first half of the spanish 6 o'clock kick off on the red button! Nice warm up this game for Barcelona later, hopefully they will get back on track after the midweek disappointment.
AjcW Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Superb counter attack from valencia. 1-0 David Villa.
