Yea that's what i thought when i did it, why would i wanna write about some peom when i could write about my favourate film ?

Putting it like that makes it sound like they were justified. That's what kids do.

All criticism and elitism aside, I think your career opportunities are quite limited with a subject like that. It's down to you how much that bothers you.

Good lad.

I used to teach that - you can't beat a bit of proper subjects! :D

You know... I've just realised how I would feel if I discovered that after two years of posting on here, you had been my physics teacher.

Or anyone had been any of my teachers, and heard all of my rantings and ravings.

God that would be... strange.

It's like a DISCO, Phube. You're too old to know these new words for stuff. :D

Wouldn't it be even more bizarre if one of your teachers had been your Batracer partner?!!!! :giggle::S:whistle:

Don't worry, I've never taught in Lestohshire. :P

Haha!

I could just imagine it happening though, spend all this time on the forum, then make a remark about what school you go to and someone pops up with "Oh, I teach there".

You're never safe in the interwebnet

I don't think we've ever met :sweating:

I've never been to Snetterton.

Ah, but I have this amazing invention called a car. It means I can commute to Norwich with ease.

Well I'm back at school today, starting my AS's.

As you can see, I'm doing Maths, Physics, Computing and CISCO, just wondering if anyone is doing/has done these, and if so, what are they like, and tips on them?

Maths - Just do tonnes of questions, and if you dont understand something the first time, then go to the teacher a lot fo the stuff cannot be self-taught

Physics - I found this more tricky than Maths, and do not get bogged down if u dont well in the first year also make sure u learn the stuff inside out, the questions are often weird and cannot be bullshitted.

P.S. the jump from GCSE to A-Levels is massive!

Good Luck!

I just finished doing my a-levels, they were mathcs and further maths with physics and chemistry.

My advice for maths is like the guy above said just do alot of the practice questions and once it clicks you should be allright :)

Have fun

X always equals 3.7 unless the answer is in coulombs in which case it's 0.14 or 1850 depending on whether it's an odd or even question.

The exam boards have to make it that way to aid markers.

Fact.

All facts stated in this post are subject to an error margin of 100% and no liability can be accepted for anyone using these facts to achieve a 0% mark in A-level exams

and what about the quality of written communication? "daggers once wrote on foxes talk ... therefore my answer is 3.7"

Stig that was me, when you were walking back up to school?

Me and Tevez were there.

I knew it was you, recognised you from that party! Didn't recognise Tevez, that's what threw me!

WTF is CISCO!?!?

That guy that sings thong song, he is cisco.

I eat sleep and shit cisco at work. Just out of interest what level of cisco do they teach you? do you get a certification at the end of it all? i am a cisco certified network professional or better known as a CCNP.

Since when is CISCO an A-Level?

My brother got the first two CISCO qualifications after studying for just one month

which first tow? Intro and ICND? CCNA and CCNP? bearing in mind CCNP is 4 exams......what does your brother do?

Cisco is a company name. Cisco make about 90% or so of networking equipmnt used in the business world (mainly in the switching routing and firewall sectors)

Some of the Cisco certificaitons that one can attempt include CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, PIX etc.

He's got CCNA and CCNP now (working on the top level one) and works as a networking consultant.

doing the CCNA and CCNP within one month....never heard anyone do them that quickly, thats cracking. He must have spent some serious man hours in the old books either that or he is one hell of a bright chap. Sounds like your bro does the same sort of work that i do!

he is doing CCIE? has he taken the written yet?

He has in the past, missed it just by a couple of points, methinks.

He's off travelling for a few months now and will most likely try that again when he's back.
