the_bowman Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 Well I'm back at school today, starting my AS's. As you can see, I'm doing Maths, Physics, Computing and CISCO, just wondering if anyone is doing/has done these, and if so, what are they like, and tips on them?
Samilktray Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 Could this of not gone in an existing thread?

Maths is a bastard apparently mate, my friends who done it said the January module is hard but things lighten up after that mate. Whats CISCO?
Daggers Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 Well I'm back at school today, starting my AS's.As you can see, I'm doing Physics Good lad. I used to teach that - you can't beat a bit of proper subjects!
the_bowman Posted 1 September 2008 Author Posted 1 September 2008 Could this of not gone in an existing thread? Well I thought about that, but long threads often get bogged down in too much off-topic crap, and starting a new thread doesn't really do any harm. Especially when there's so much random-thread-making about anyway. Maths is a bastard apparently mate, my friends who done it said the January module is hard but things lighten up after that mate.Whats CISCO? Yeah I know Maths is gonna be hard, but it's my best subject, and goes well with Physics. Good lad.I used to teach that - you can't beat a bit of proper subjects! Well Physics is what I'm planning on taking at University, and it really fascinated me. Plus we've got a great crop of Physics teachers at my school too.
lavrentis Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 I am looking forward to Maths, Physics, I.T and Business on Wednesday.

Simi Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 Boy did I get ****ed off today with our new year 12's. Wankers. Had a load of gob shite little girls rob our seats where we've sat for a while now and then they tried to play on the pool table. They need to find out the code of conduct when coming up a year!
lildave3 Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 The key to avoiding that is to make sure LD3 doesnt get involved. And the key to that is to entitle the thread 'A Levels'. ... Oh bollocks.
Samilktray Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 And the key to that is to entitle the thread 'A Levels'.... Oh bollocks. How utterly bizarre.

Before they came in we made a divide in the common room, them to the right and us on the left. All be it we had all the comfy seats and the vending machine and there vending machine is out of order. Did they stick to this divide? Did they balls. They will learn though, cant wait till we get the PS2 back then. Trouble will start probably.

dandannieldanok Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 It is actually depressing to be back at college, for me anyway. First time I've seen the light of morning for 7 weeks.

Anyway, I found Maths fine, but I also did Further Maths so don't listen to me. Physics is ok too, just make sure you keep on top of it. I hated one of my teachers but thought the other one was brilliant and so I did well in half and didn't try in the other. I had a D in the January of Upper 6th and had to re-sit a lot so I could hoist it up to a B and get the AAB I needed for Warwick.
The Stig Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 I was back at Rawlins today and someone said hello to me off here but I've forgot who it was. I was miles away at the time!

Tevez Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 Film Studs, I.T, Geog and Communcation Studies. Can't wait to get going.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 Film Studs, I.T, Geog and Communcation Studies. Can't wait to get going. I did Film Studies a few years ago, and got a few "not a proper subject" type comments. Anyone that says this needs to pull their head out of their arse. I'm pretty good at English but I find it easier to write essays about something I understand rather than dull novels that I find boring.
