Yes friends it is another poll!!!!!!

Similar to the last one, just you lot think about this one though!:rolleyes:

With the Premier teams getting major investors in which make Mandy look like Bernie, I have a teaser for you all!

People in my earlier poll have asked for very rich benefactors to come in and make LCFC a major force in English football! To become a club like those who have been bought out by big money men or organisations. I can think of examples such as: Chelsea, Manchester City, Fulham, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham, Wigan & Portsmouth.

I do feel that these clubs who have benefited in performance both on & off of the pitch, have however lost a huge amount of tradition, for selling out to these big players. Also these clubs are getting in a new fan base, sponsorship & regulations for the match which are not at LCFC due to our current position.

Thinking about it Everton still run out to z-cars, they have not been bought out, LCFC have been bought out (scale) & do not run out to the Post Horn Gallop!

Liverpool's once magnificent KOP only seems to have a voice on a European night. Manchester United fans are great away and drowned out by quiet at home :S .

I would like to ask actually how the "average fan" has benefited by these money men in the game? Clubs results? Well isn't natural progression better than Financially enhanced victories? Will Derby Forest or YES! Even Leicester ever get to win the league "ever" or again :S:@ ?

I suppose the question is are our traditions worth a "leg up" in the league?

The day that I consider football important enough to classify it as one of the important things in life, is the day that I realise I have no life to speak of.

If you don't consider football important enough to classify it as one of the important things in life then why are you posting on a City-related forum on a Friday night? :dunno:

Rugby doesn't start until tomorrow.

There's too much money in football altogether nowadays. You have to allow these sort of takeovers to happen in order to compete with the best. Traditions and identities are what makes football great, but these will eventually die out if we continue with this trend. The only way to stop it would be for football fans to turn round and say enough is enough, but unfortunately I doubt this will happen.

The important things in my life (not necessarily in order) are:

1. Leicester City Football Club

2. My dog

3. Music

4. The Missus

Everything else is way below zero.

And I don't want a billionaire ruining any of them. Although I might sell the Missus  for a couple of million.

How can a billionaire ruin your dog?

The most important thing in life is that Denis Wise gets f***ed.

If you mean that something horrible happens to him then I see where you're coming from, if on the other hand you're implying that it's important that he is sexually gratified then I have to disagree :D

It all depends on how a Billionaire handled the running of the club.

If it is someone like Randy Lerner at Villa then yes no problem. He has simply sat back and left the running of the team to his manager, simply supplying funds that are felt that are needed to bring players into the club.

On the other hand;

If it's someone like Mike Ashley who brings in a poison dwarf as director of football, then allows the sale of players that the manager wants to keep, also buys players that the manager does not really want.

Then the answer is no.

Let the Billionaires invest as much as they like, provided they leave team matters to the people who know and understand the game.

(Excluding poison dwarves)
