Legend_in_blue Posted 12 October 2008 Author Posted 12 October 2008 Bond. James Bond. Director's Lounge. Cocktails. End of October. I'm there! That's if, of course, they're showing it in the director's lounge.

No, they're bloody not (well not at the moment anyway!) just normal and digital... But Digital Projections are lovley!!! Like Cinema in HD... so sharp and lovely!!!
MC Prussian Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 Went to see "Taken" today at the De Lux. Nice cinema, got in for £6 (matinee price). Pretty interiors. Shit film, though.
Samilktray Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 The seats are fooking shit. Never had such neck pains in all my life, and its bastard freezing in there. The toilets are something else though.
AoWW Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 I want to go to a cinema with settees. It's a new one on me.... I'd be unimpressed if it was cold though. In fact, I might have to visit Leicester for the sole purpose.... oh, and I haven't been to Highcross yet, so double the reason for a trip.

The seats were atrocious I thought, but they might be better in that Directors Hall and whatever the other 1s called.

If it's as cold as you say it is I'll just end up squirming around in the seat trying to get comfy anyway. Don't they hand out blankets like on airlines?

AoWW Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 They expect you to wear coats during the film it seems. And thats never a good look. Bizarre. Can't say I've ever sat down on my settee at home to watch a film and thought, "I know what I'd better do... put my coat on!"
Phube Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 Wimps... It's nowhere near as cold as the Odeon!!! And the seats are great, all bouncy and all!! For a figet like me they are perfect!
