Glad Shitanta didn't get any of the Champions League,

They haven't got an awful lot come to think of it,

Just those England away qualifiers which grinds my gears.

you said ITV had away qulaifiers, when in fact the have the home 1's

You've said it wrong now as well! To clarify ITV have home qualifiers and away friendlies. Setanta away qualifiers and home friendlies. Well spotted in the first place though.

well then that's your fault not theirs

Hardly,

Currently, my family Sky bill is £57 a month,

I'm sure not alot of people could justify a £67 a month Sky Bill.

Obviously I don't have to pay, but I'm sure my Mum doesn't appreciate it.

I don't have sky so for the past 4 years I was in your situation but I don't bitch and moan and call it a disgrace

I've got Sky,

But, I am not paying an extra tenner a month for Setanta.

Never called it a disgrace.

Maybe he's too young to go down the pub and drink and watch it? What do you do then?

Personally I think it is fookin disgusting that the FA have sold our national team to the highest bidders. I think most other major footballing countries insist that ALL national team games are available on terrestrial.

It is a shame that the FA has embroiled the England team in the money circus, and deprives and alienates those that cannot afford satellite TV and maybe can't get down the pub. (Pubs incidentally have to pay amazingly stupid sums of money to get Sky Football games - around a grand depending on the size of your pub)

It certainly disgusts me!!!

What I don't understand is why you aren't getting angry at Sky. They have less games yet are charging you more than two seasons ago before Setanta got in on the act. It's not Setanta's fault that Sky is a rip off.

So there are no highlight rights to any of the internationals?

ITV have highlights to home friendlies, not away qualifiers. Its just away qualifiers that cannot be seen on free to air TV.

Well, they could if the Beeb weren't such tight wan kers & would pay for the rights. I don't know why I bother paying my licence fee when they can't be bothered to stump up a few notes for the highlights.

It's the country's national sport for christ's sake, surely the BBC has a public duty to acquire the rights to such events? It's the same with the cricket - depsite it being the major summer sport, they decided against bidding for the coverage rights as it wouldn't fit in with their scheduling. Yep, I'd much rather watch re-runs of Cash in the Attic or Under the Hammer than the next Ashes series.

Some pubs won't let under 18's in.
