Matt Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Still? Yes, Still. If he's not selected for England this Wolves fan I know ain't happy. TBH Lescott's OK, but wouldn't say he is that great.
kidder_wolf Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Still? Why not? we still wank over Robbie Keane Those two fly the flag for us in Europe. Its the closest we will get. Lord England does a great job of flying the orange flag in the USA though
Raj Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Oi! I'm not Smuts, y'know!! <_< Ah Smuts??? Where is the Bender???? Anyway...Bye Bye for now!!! KEEP THE FAITH!!!!
Webbo Posted 31 January 2009 Posted 31 January 2009 Lets see how Mick copes after we lose a couple of games in a row. Not too well after Tuesday's match according to this; http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/audio/2...thy-wolves-rant
kidder_wolf Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Not too well after Tuesday's match according to this;http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/audio/2...thy-wolves-rant Loved that rant Collins has been awful this season so Mick has gone out and agreed a £2.5m fee with Hearts for their captain Christophe Berra. All he has to do is pass a medical. Im more confident about promotion now.
kidder_wolf Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Heard playboy stearman got MoM this week. He had another stunning game at centre back today. He has been shite the couple of times hes played at right back though. But he did get ripped to peices by a young lad from west ham called Kyal Ried for Blackpool. We have signed him aswel Its nice having money and spending it all on young talent. The millions we have wasted on past it players who are just looking for 1 final big contract.
kidder_wolf Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 You'll still choke, I'm afraid. Reading look like the only team who could over take us (i personally think they will). i will be more than happy with 2nd place. Brum wont finish in the top 2 they have not looked good enough all season. Cardiff?? maybe but we have a 11 point gap over them and they still have to come to molineux. Our young guns have no fear. What they lack in expierence they more than make up in talent and energy. Reading could be losing Hunt and Harper we wont be selling any of our stars before the window closes. If those two leave it will only help us in becoming champions.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 1. Reading 2. Cardiff --------------- 3. Wolves 4. Birmingham 5. Swansea 6. QPR You just know it
Tilley Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Cardiff are going up & I hope they do. Wish they weren't moving from Ninian Park.
Ultra Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Looks like a Wolves-Reading 1-2. Brum are choking (three defeats in the last five games) and none of the chasing pack seem capable of putting a winning run together to close the lead of the top two. I foresee a nightmare scenario in the playoffs - Swansea v Cardiff. That will help to pay off a few plod mortgages..
Matt Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 They lost to the Covscum They don't deserve promotion to the Premiership
Uncle Albert Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 Richard Stearman is the best defender in the Championship.
Ultra Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 Is that why he doesn't feature in the Wolves side any more?
kidder_wolf Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 Stearman has found himself unlucky to be left out the side, he had a couple of poor games (one at right back) while we were going through our poor spell of 2 wins in 11. We had just signed Berra who was still settling in so Mick bought in Jody Craddock for his experience and its paid off big time. I dont expect to see Craddock playing next season so Stearman will get his place back unless we sign someone better.
Ultra Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 Wouldn't fancy Stearman's chances against Torres or Drogba.. He'll be a fringe player at best next season. Wouldn't be surprised to see him come back to us on loan.
kidder_wolf Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 He has looked really good for us and is still improving as a player. There is no chance he will be loaned out. I can see maybe Keogh or Vokes going out on loan next season though. Iwelumo wont get much of a look in if we sign Harewood in the summer.

Its not like Stearman would be playing against Drogba or Torres every single week for 38 games is it? Have a think. And if God has listened to me recently then he will be signing permanently in the Summer.

kidder_wolf Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 It won't be just the big four. Stearman will struggle against the likes of Kevin Davies or Kenwyne Jones. Jones is a very lazy player. dont see what all the fuss is about him tbf. Foley Stearman Berra Elokobi thats our back 4 sorted already.

And if God has listened to me recently then he will be signing permanently in the Summer. As a big Stearman fan I still had to at this. Stearman is like a pencil in terms of upper body strength. Like others have said, Adebayor, Kenwyne, Yakubu, Ashton would brush him a side no probs. Stearman has got the tackling ability though which could be his saving grace.
Ultra Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 The Premier League is largely about pace. That will find Stearman out more than anything else.
