JakeShingler Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Wolves have had a great start to the season but do you think they can keep it up? Me personaly i think they can got some good players in Kightly Ebans-Blake and Iwelumo,Can score goals as they have all ready proved and are currently 3 points clear.
Asha Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 No, I think it'll still be Brum and QPR. Might get promoted through play-offs though.
NFFC Chris Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 They will choke. Again.Scum. I hate them. Can also see this.Made a similar start a few years ago yet only finished in the playoffs,I hope the same scenario occurs again.
JakeShingler Posted 23 September 2008 Author Posted 23 September 2008 They will choke. Again.Scum. I hate them. I do not really mind them as my old man is a fan of theres.
purpleronnie Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Well I picked Brum & Reading. But I like wolves so I hope they do.
Koke Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 I do not really mind them as my old man is a fan of theres. I was born and half-grew up in Wolves. I really can't stand the dingles. You think we have fickle fans, but those lot take the biscuit.
Ric Flair Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Mick McCarthy is a twat, I can see him ballsing it up again and getting the sack. But, they have made an impressive start to the season.

Joe. Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 They won't keep it up, not many teams can do it throughout a whole season. Reading and Birmingham have better squads, and I expect them to be higher than Wolves come the end of the season.
Uncle Albert Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Whilst they have Richard Stearman at the heart of their defence they are the best team in the Championship.
Koke Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 That Ebanks-Blake fella is a beast though. And so is Chris Iwelumu. He looked so out of his depth many years ago, but has improved beyond belief. Sam Vokes is someone I rate highly and they have other good players like Michael Kightly, David Jones, Andy Keogh, Matt Jarvis and our very own Richard Stearman.
lookwhaticando Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Mick McCarthy is a twat, I can see him ballsing it up again and getting the sack. But, they have made an impressive start to the season. Succinct. And if he does get them promoted, somehow, many will hope, for Wolves' sake, that they sack him upon achieving promotion and replace him with someone capable. Similar to what QPR are planning with ol' ugly fucker Dowie. Obviously, I hope they keep him if they go up, it's been so long since I've had a jolly good laugh at a Mick McCarthy team being all super shitty in the top flight. Watching Sunderland roll over and die on a weekly basis was a jolly good laugh. Plus, I think Wolves are shit.

JakeShingler Posted 23 September 2008 Author Posted 23 September 2008 And got sent off Haha that was funny.
Lovejoy Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 They look good, but it's the championship, so anything could happen .
Corky Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 I was born and half-grew up in Wolves. I really can't stand the dingles. You think we have fickle fans, but those lot take the biscuit. They are far worse than ours for sure. Never stop moaning.
kidder_wolf Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 We finally have a board room full of people who know how to run a football club. not totally convinced with the coaching set up but so far this season everything is going to plan. Lets see how Mick copes after we lose a couple of games in a row. He is a very limited manager when it comes to tactics but the board have given him money and time to build a side which anyone of us could get promoted so fair play to him as its one hell of a squad we have. We needed a left back and signed 2 on deadline day but they will struggle to get into the team as we are playing striker Stephen Ward there who is playing brilliantly. Kevin Foley is Mr 7 out of 10 reminds me alot like Dennis Irwin when he was at wolves.I came on here asking about Richard Stearman when we first signed him and was told we were wasting our money if we planned to play him at centre back but he has been amazing there. We have 2 of the trickest wingers in the league in Michael Kightly and Matt Jarvis and David Jones from Derby was a great. signing keeping the impressive Dave Edwards out of the side. But the key to our success in midfield this season has been Seyi olofinjana. Selling him was the best thing we did this summer he has held us back for the past 4 seasons. Not the type of player you want if you're looking for promotion. Keogh, Vokes, Ebanks-Blake and Iwelumo is there a better striker force in the league. Will it last? who knows and who cares! we are just enjoying the style of play which we have not seen since 2003 when Jones got us promoted. 2 years of boring McCarthy football and 18 months of depressing hoddle tactics are all in the past now
lcfc_jme Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 I want Wolves to gain promotion. Mainly because I'm in love with Keogh and Kightly. Gutted they sold ol' Seyi, but the two players mentioned previously are still reason enough for me to wish Wolves all the best. Keeeeeeooooggghhhhhhh.

Matt Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 I hope not, My next door neighbour supports them and I can have a decent conversation with him about football, However someone else I know is right twat when it comes to football and Wolves. This lad moans more that me/some of our fans, He deserves something to moan about. He's either saying there shite or "Matt Murray should be England no.1" "Wayne Hennersey - Wales no.1, he'd easily make it in a top Prem club" and so on about other players...Then he goes and wanks over Joleon Lescott.
