Matt Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Looks like Wolves are in the same boat as us now. Wolves - 77 points. Birmingham - 75 points. ------------------------------ Reading - 69 points. (With a game in hand over Wolves and Birmingham) Sheff Utd - 69 points. (With a game in hand over Wolves and Birmingham)
Joe. Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Yeah they've been on a downwards spiral for a while now. Don't think they'll win the league with three teams ready and waiting for them to slip up now.
Daggers Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Piss poor defending & goalkeeping tonight. Shocking tackle for the red card, made me yelp every repeat.
Koke Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Looks like Wolves are in the same boat as us now.Wolves - 77 points. Birmingham - 75 points. ------------------------------ Reading - 69 points. (With a game in hand over Wolves and Birmingham) Sheff Utd - 69 points. (With a game in hand over Wolves and Birmingham) Difference is Reading can't win (or score) for love nor for money at the moment. On the other hand, Peterborough can't stop winning. I would give up sex for a month if Wolves bottle it. I would be over the moon.
Filbert_Ross Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 that was the most bundled in goal ive ever seen last night.
Ultra Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 The defence looked dodgy last night. Wonder if Stearman will come back in the next game?
kidder_wolf Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Wolves have had a great start to the season but do you think they can keep it up?. Well it looks like its all over now. 3 points will give us promotion and with our better goal difference the title aswell. With our best 3 players out injuried for the rest of the season it was was good to see Andy Keogh get the goals that has as good as sent us up. He has got alot of stick this season.

He has got alot of stick this season. Congratulations. I was 50/50 on wanting Wolves to go up, I haven't got any problems with Wolves, and like us being top of the league almost all season it'd be abit twatish of me to want you to fuk up as I know how it would feel but the reason I wanted you not to go up is I know a couple of Wolves fans so just for a bit of banter I wanted us to be in the same league - Although you'd probably batter us anyway! Like Coventry, Forest, Derby, e.t.c I always want them to do bad because I dislike them but I always want to be in the same league (Within reason, If they dropped into League 2 I wouldn't want to be in the same league ) so we can play them, have some banter, have some rivalry, and have the opportunity of some bragging rights.
kidder_wolf Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Congratulations. Same to you guys we have both been top for almost the whole season hopefully Peterboro will join you. Leeds to stay down I dont like the thugs at Sheff utd but they were screwed over by the FA when they got relegated and i hate Cardiff, Blues and Reading more.
Brainy Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Haven't read through the last page or two of this thread so - where is Stearman of late? I haven't heard his name for a while.
kidder_wolf Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Haven't read through the last page or two of this thread so - where is Stearman of late? I haven't heard his name for a while. He got dropped towards the end of our bad run once we signed Berra ( little between the 2 both very good) MM wanted to add some experience to the defence so brought in Craddock and Hill and boy has it worked.
purpleronnie Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 I would say they'll get slaughtered in the premiership but I thought Stoke would so who knows.
lildave3 Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Don't mind Wolves going up. If it means no trip to Molineux next season i'm all for it.
lcfc_jme Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 LAAA, LAAA, LAAA, LA LA LA LAAAAAA, LA LA LA LAAAAAAAA, KEEEEEEOOOGGHHHHHHH!!! ****ing result.
The Doctor Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Wolves!, Can they? Choke? yes they can. they'll lose all their remaining games, get overtaken by sheff U and cardiff then get slaughtered in the play-offs by burnley in the final
Fox92 Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 He's too big and refs penalise him for that when he jumps. The only good thing he did for us was score 2 against Sheff Wed I love anybody that scores against them... Just thought I'd let you all know
C-man Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 Don't really like Wolves for seemingly a lack of ambition, but to be fair, they deserve to go up. And I really, really would like to never go to Molineux again.
kidder_wolf Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 Kidder...give Mark Davies some stick for us! Dont worry we will unless he gets injured again
Ultra Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 Don't really like Wolves for seemingly a lack of ambition, but to be fair, they deserve to go up. And I really, really would like to never go to Molineux again. Having been there for the 4-3 game, neither would I..
Fox92 Posted 16 April 2009 Posted 16 April 2009 Having been there for the 4-3 game, neither would I.. I am currently thinking the same thing...
