We saw a player on his laptop on what appeared to be Foxestalk as we drove by the team coach on the way home.

I think it was Max.

I'm about to set off for colchester in a minute or so. This will be my first away game this season so c'mon lads lets go top of this shitty league!! :scarf:

What a nightmare, everywhere we went there was bloody queues!! roadworks and traffic accidents made me miss near enough the whole first half, but judging by the comments there wasnt much i missed anyway. Got the whole second half and more importantly i was there to see dyers superb goal. I said to my mate who was a colchester fan 'watch out for lloyd dyer, what a player he is' 2minutes later he scored :scarf:

The players loved being beeped at by me at silly o'clock. Stevie Howard was definatly cracking into the 6th can of an 8 pack of Newcy Brown too.

Fairly average performance, but theres a lot of class that many teams are lacking in this division. Thought Fryatt looked good again, a real deal for defences. Dyer was class on the wing and loved scoring. Got raped by the fans at the front.

Their stadium is dire. Nowhere near ANYTHING! At least I parked for free & didn't get clamped/ticketed!

Thought our fans were still quite poor for what we took, outsung first half, improved 2nd half and shut the home fans up. Good amount of fans turned up though, very nice to see. How ridiculous did their home end look. I swear there was less than 250 people in there!!!

Oh And don't stop at Pubs near Braintree. They don't have very nice bairmaids  KANT!

EDIT: Which way were y'all coming from? We had one que near Braintree which last 10 mins tops...Rest there and back was plain sailing!

Just got back.

Lucky to make the game being on the M25 for over an hour and half. Just made kick off.

Diddums. I was on it for near 4 hours.

Just got back, nightmare getting to Colchester, nightmare getting away from Colchester, god i hate a one way in, one way out system! ANYWAY...

I didn't even get that far.

Come on lads! I can't remember the last time we won a game in hand that really mattered, we've wasted a fair few of them in recent years. But this could be massive, get to the top of the pile and stay there.

If Lloyd me Lloyd can pick up where he left off in the past 2 away games then we'll be sweet as a fookin bell.

GWAN Leicester.

Lethal.

Again, some of our football was a delight, other areas still need attention.

However at this stage in the season and our rebirth, we shouldn't be asking for more, lets just enjoy it and let NP improve things in his way.

Anyone got a link for Dyer's goal?

Unless it's on Virgin it's illegal.

What was the atmos/banter like last night?

Their fans were quite good considering the predicament their in (Shit club, shit attendences, HORRIBLE stadium). Good accoustics.

Our fans were poor first half, the singers didn't congregate in one area, so were split. 2nd Half much better. Crazy Goal celebrations and the players appreciated the support. Espcially Powell & Dyer :worship:

Banter wasn't bad considering new stadium etc. Not witty enough though! :nono:

I think this link might be okay, because the person who uploaded the video recorded it whilst at the match, and obviously owns it as well. However, knowing what youtube are like, they may delete it anyway. So take a look whilst you can.

Dyer's Goal

Quite a quality goal actually. :scarf:

Well done City. Top of the League! Such a nice feeling.

Dyer is King.

Another clean sheet for Martin aswell. Mustard.

Just hope we can keep it up and not drop silly points.

Had a great night, delighted and very impressed with the turn-out from Leicester. We created a good noise as well.

First half wasn't great, but we ended it strongly, and carried that momentum into the second. Absolutely class goal by Dyer. Gerken kept them in it with a couple of great saves, and Fryatt was unlucky strking wide after a run from the half-way line. Col U were unfortunate when that great free-kick hit the post, but I think we deserved the win.

Don't think much of their new ground, the seats were quite uncomfortable and it seemed a bit bland. Very poor turn-out at the opposite end.

I'd like to think that my 'Your shirts look like Tesco bags" chant got everyone going. Well, it sounded like it fromy my slightly  point of view...
