Head Honcho Posted 1 October 2008 Author Posted 1 October 2008 At a guess it has to be our promotion season under Micky Adams surely? Yeh just looked on soccerbase.com We did a four timer early on in the season and a five timer towards the end of the season. It'll be a tough one on Saturday but I reckon we can do it.
Austin Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 I reckon we can .. got the momentum on our side! CMON CITEH!
Durnerz Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 Allen, time to put the whisky bottle down Nah in all seriousness it'd be a great achievement to keep a good run going, will be a tough game but we're looking very good.
Maybes Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 With Lloyd on the left, I'd be a fool to say we couldn't win
lildave3 Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 Yes, yes we can. I want a goal from at least one of the strikers though.
Fox You Forest Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 Yes, yes we can.I want a goal from at least one of the strikers though. I would take a 1-0 with a Tunchev goal.
lildave3 Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 I would take a 1-0 with a Tunchev goal. Well obviously I would take it, but our strikers need to get amongst the goals again I reckon.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 God this would be exciting for the confidence and another 3 points closer to that magical 100
Munzie Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 God this would be exciting for the confidence and another 3 points closer to that magical 100 100 points
harpendenfox Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 We lost. Seen it on the highlights. Just got back. King was rubbish. Fryatt missed a shedload. Seriously depressed now. Milan needs to get his cheque book out. Stewards were daft. And it didn't stop raining
SamL Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 I think it'll be another close game but I feel we have enough to win the game. I'm going for a 2-0 Leicester win.
Acetripper Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 We'll be using this game as a measure of how far we've come under our new management team. So far we've blown hot and cold, one minute we look like a really good football team, the next we chase shadows. Our last performance away to Oldham was the first time we've actually put a consistant 90 minutes together this season. Until then we've either started brightly and faded or we've let the opposition score and faught back. In contrast to 'The Foxes' form, it's all been very frustrating for us so far at Huddersfield. This has been made all the more frustrating because before the season started we were full of expectation. We sold over 15,000 season tickets and brought 9 new players in and while we all knew they would take time to gel as a team, it's been very poor at times. However our 1-1 draw at table topping Oldham Athletic last Saturday has lifted the spirits and we're now all hoping for a sustained upturn in our form. AceT
