Off Saffron Road ................ go up saffron lane , over pork pie island then 2nd left on to dorset avenue . Entrance is 500 yards on the left . Go past clubhouse towards big trees at the top . pitch just past trees . You can see pitches as you come up Saffron Road next to Samworth Academy

Your Dad might have done I lived in a maisonette in Kenilworth Court Kenilworth Rd with my brother for 2/3 years when I was around 20, you wouldn't have even been a twinkle in your Dad's eye by then.
