I am studying Photography, Just thought I would start a topic for anyone else that has a keen interest in this.

I really love sports photography.

What do you like ?

You know, I was waiting for someone to say that.

I must admit I love it to, but I doubt my missus would love it if I suddenly carved out a career taking pics of naked chicks.

Maybe I could lie !

I'm getting quite in to it, I only have a crap digital camera though.

My mate has an amazing one - all the lenses/zooms etc, tripods... he got some cracking ones of us playing cricket.

It's something I'd like to be more in to, but presently money/time constraints don't allow it.

All the best with it - I bet you can derive a lot of satisfaction from it.

That's what i reckon as well would be amazing to have a photograph published as well as a lot of self satisfaction

My missus is in Malaysia she has just picked me up a Sony A300 with 18-70 mm and 55-200mm, 4GB memory, Tripod and Bag for £400.... Bargain..... Saved over £200 for that.

Can't wait til she comes back now to have a play.

Just hope it comes with a Worldwide Warranty Card or else you'll have one hell of a problem getting it fixed under warranty if it ****s up!

You do raise a good point.

I will have a word with her later.

I am pretty sure she mentioned this.

I'm pretty into my photography. Anyone who has me on Facebook will know that! Got some great pictures on my 2 month trip, and yesterday a few decent closeups of Polar Bears (I'm in northern Canada). I'll upload some onto here if there are still some around when I get back in a week or two.

In the mean time, I have some photos at www.lostintrepid.wordpress.com

I have a Nikon D40X which was awesome until the lense seized up last week. >_<

Studying photography? Can I ask why? You do realise you DONT need any certificates to get jobs?

Whenever I've been to an interview for photography they are more interested in your previous work, Although I guess it helps to have studied it, at least you'll get free access to equimpent.

Had a D1 until I sold it and the kit to buy my bike a year ago...which was crushed by a bitch in a car three weeks ago.

I like taking snaps.

I sold some once.

Which was nice.
