The People's Hero Posted 24 October 2008 Posted 24 October 2008 I would just like King to impose himself on a few games first, before he's given the armband. Once Kisnorbo is back fully fit, give it to him.
Koke Posted 24 October 2008 Posted 24 October 2008 Leicester v Northampton: Preview On-loan defender Kerrea Gilbert will miss Leicester`s clash with Northampton at the Walkers Stadium. The Arsenal youngster suffered a hamstring injury in the 2-2 draw against Walsall in midweek. Foxes manager Nigel Pearson said: "Kerrea has picked up a hamstring injury. It is difficult to put a timescale on it, but while he will be out on Saturday, we would hope he will be back sooner rather than later.'' James Wesolowski has returned from his loan spell at Cheltenham after suffering a fractured ankle in the Robins` defeat at Tranmere on Tuesday. It is not yet known how long the Australian will be out. Fellow midfielder Stephen Clemence (heel) and strikers Ashley Chambers (broken leg), DJ Campbell (groin) and Paul Dickov (back) remain unavailable. Northampton manager Stuart Gray is set to recall Adebayo Akinfenwa and Giles Coke to his starting line-up. Akinfenwa was left on the bench for the midweek defeat at Swindon as he struggles to complete two games a week due to a shin injury while Coke came on and scored to put himself in the frame. On-loan Wolves defender Mark Little remains out with the knee injury he picked up against Yeovil last weekend and Gray hopes to discover the extent of the damage early next week. He said: "The swelling hasn't gone down on Mark's knee yet but I think Wolves are hoping to get that scanned in the next few days.'' Forward Colin Larkin is out with a thigh injury while left-back Liam Davis is sidelined for a month with a stress fracture. Goalkeeper Chris Dunn dislocated a finger against Reading in the midweek reserve defeat but should be on the bench as cover for Frank Fielding. Our last 5 home games: D-W-L-W-W Northampton last 5 away games: L-W-L-D-L

JoeyB Posted 24 October 2008 Posted 24 October 2008 Mentalists. Not really i just think it would give us a bit more attacking flair. Gradel has being doing a bit of defensive work lately and him and mattock could do the wing back role i think! Dyer behind the Front two woul be their to support more, because at times i we are a bit slow gettin forward, and the back 3 is solid! It would allow Oakly and king to have a bit more of a free role aswell!
Nugent Posted 24 October 2008 Posted 24 October 2008 Henderson Hobbs, Tunchev, Kisnorbo, Powell Adams, Oakley, King, Dyer Fryatt, Howard Subs: Martin, Morrison, Hayles, Gradel, Mattock

Salieri Posted 24 October 2008 Posted 24 October 2008 Hendo Hobbs Tunch Kisnorbo MattockAdams Oakley King DyerFryatt Howard Hobbs at right back, not ideal but short on options. Be interesting to see how Kisnorbo and Tunch play alongside each other. Difficult decision between Mattock or Powell but id like to see Mattock get a proper run now fit again. Adams or Gradel? Been disappointed with Gradel after a good start to season, Adams a bit hot and cold, just think Gradels potentially a very potent weapon to bring off the bench second half. Again not many options for cm or cf so have to stick with the somewhat predictable pairings. If Dickov was back and fit id be givng him a chance...
SamL Posted 24 October 2008 Posted 24 October 2008 What i would like to see: Henderson Gilbert Kisnorbo Tunchev Powell Adams Oakley King Dyer Howard Fryatt Gilbert's injured.
JakeShingler Posted 24 October 2008 Posted 24 October 2008 Gilbert's injured. Oh yes wel in that case Hobbs.
clazkel Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 Don't think Howard behind the front to would work. Maybe Fryatt? I thought Hayles and Fryatt would give more options up front, and Howard just behind knocking the ball onto them.
syston_fox Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 HendersonHobbs, Tunchev, Kisnorbo, Powell Adams, Oakley, King, Dyer Fryatt, Howard Subs: Martin, Morrison, Hayles, Gradel, Mattock That's what I'm hoping for this afternoon! Think it would be very harsh on Powell if Mattock took his place.
