haha.

It was a disappointing loss for us (Miami) but it'll do us well in the long term.

All the Knicks players and fans acting as though it was a finals win will goad the Heat once the real season starts in late Spring. We lost to the Celtics 4 times in the reg season last year and the Bulls four times the previous year but come the playoffs it didn't matter.

Knicks will be the same - all mouth as they always have been but no bollox. If their old men can actually keep playing for the season they'll still get eliminated by us - just like last season when the playoffs arrive.

Just bow to the champions knicks scum. ;)

Hopefully not i'd rather see them get knocked out by the Nets just for the entertainment value!

I'm a knicks fan and i believe this year they can be contenders.

Wallace has been the biggest surprise for me, i thought it was a terrible move and i've been proven wrong.

What most Heat fans forget to realise is that the Knicks have a starter missing, everybody would know if Bosh was out and they still kept winning but remember Stoudamire is still to come back and Shumpert will boost the D when he returns. Plus Knicks beat the heat without Anthony who has been awesome this season.

With the experience and Felton thriving in New York then we have the best chance since the late 80's early 90's to winning something.

Key match against the bulls tonight.

:P

I happily admit that the Heat are not one of the best 10 teams in the league at the moment.

We'll still crush the hated Knicks in the playoffs.

lol Everyone knows that Amare is out and Schumpert is out and Camby is out.

Knicks fans are the biggest joke in the world - just ahead of Chicago fans.

Wallace is a nasty twat who will hopefully die before the end of the season. Stoudamire will come in and mess up the whole of the knick spacing before he gets dumped - except no-one will take him in trade because he's so badly injured that he can't get any insurance.

Fatty Felton has managed to eat less pies and found his form. Still he's only a second rate PG (which makes him two levels higher than Jeremy Lin - the last Knick saviour).

JR is fantastic if he plays for you (at least whilst he plays well) easy to hate for the opposition.

Melo is playing at a fantastic level but the pressure hasn't been on the Knicks yet. If they can get the best record in the East (which is a realistic possibility) then we'll see how they can handle pressure in the playoffs. I think it'll be another Rosechicago coming. Beaten badly again;

How can you say that the bulls is a key matchup? lol

The bulls got rid of half their team when they realised that Rose wasn't going to play until at least All star break so that they could get a higher draft pick. They really are not even close to contenders at the moment.

I'm looking forward to your rematch with the Nets tomorrow. Now that's a team worth watching :)

For myself being a Basketball fan, going into the new season, apart from Oklahoma and Miami, I could really see the trio of Knicks, Clippers and Nets as three major threats this season, and more than capable of getting to the NBA finals.

I really like Knicks and Carmelo Anthony is my favourite player in the NBA, Anthony has had fantastic start to season's before but he needs to keep his level up for the whole season, Stoudemire coming back may actually disrupt things, people have been saying they don't work together. Stoudemire is a big player though, but with the way Knicks have started and are playing currently, why don't they keep it as it is with Anthony and Brewer being the Forwards. They have probably aside from Howard the best centre in the NBA in Tyson Chandler, while Jeremy Lin may have been a big loss, but I like the way Knicks replaced him, by not getting in just one Point Guard but two in Kidd and Felton. Felton has impressed me to be honest, him and Anthony have controlled games this season, and always look a threat, while of course Shumpert is to come back as well so that will be a boost.

Brooklyn are a very good team, with very good players but Knicks managed to take them to Overtime when they faced each other last month, Brooklyn home record is 7-2, with one home loss being against Oklahoma and we know how good they are, Brooklyn are on home turf again and with that record I wouldn't be surprised if they won that game against the Knicks, but it wouldn't spell out danger for the Knicks. Deron Williams will most likely run the show, why Lopez and Johnson will probably score heavy.

While Knicks and Brooklyn is on the 11th not tomorrow.

FIF please tell me you have some connection to Miami and aren't just bandwagoning?

I was there the first year they started.

Was over there to see Dan Marino and the dolphins and fell in.

I've been through a lot of bad seasons, and if you knew the Heat then you'd know how we feel about the knicks.

I see Knicks beat Brooklyn, anything you want to say FIF?

It was close. ;)

Mwahahahahahaha....

Good game. did you watch it?

I was working lastnight, have only been able to watch the highlights. Fairplay to Golden State though. Was close through every quarter from the looks of it.

Surprises do happen

I know, i have found that out this week, betting on NBA games is worse than betting on football!

Heat & Spurs letting me down lastnight.

No pleasure without pain an all that...

You betting on outright wins? Try betting on the handicap markets instead, i've noticed on Willhill they make a few mistakes on the ones they supply, might be the same on other sites too

Yeah and for a change Ray ray missed two 3 pointers and Battier 1 in the last minute. The winning play was a masterpiece alongside a mistake by shane.

What's this Knicks beat Lakers to go 9-0 at home.

Anything to say FIF?

are you going to ask me this after every Knick game? Or just the ones they win?

I just finished watching the game. Lakers are awful at the moment. Knicks were on fire through the first third and after that they were pretty average. In fact I'm pretty sure that they lost the last 40 mins.

The Knicks are one of the best teams at the moment but this is December. It doesn't matter. Even if they go the rest of the regular season and get the best record it means little. Rose and the Bulls did that the last two seasons.

I don't think they can keep it up. They are a jump shooting team that doesn't rebound well. If (or more likely when) Kidd goes down then things will change and the team has so many old players that there is no way they are going the season in this vein. Plus you have amare and Schumpert who will come back and affect the team balance. That'll be interesting.

And then your saviour Melo has been outstanding but it's already taking its toll. Ask Wade when you are the team's outstanding player you get hit a lot more. Melo is going to start picking up little injuries (if not worse). I also think hat when the going gets tough he's going to start going iso again and then the Knicks lose their best weapon which is the way they have been moving the ball this season.

Their passing has been amazing.

But in the end I hate the Knicks like I hate the bulls - they are the trees and the sheep of the NBA. I'll talk shit on them until the day that they bury my team in the playoffs - and that ain't gonna happen.

Golden States final play was indeed a masterpiece. Bad defence from Miami as well though really.

1st Q v Lakers the Knicks were playing almost perfect b'ball. 30pts from 22mins is pretty decent going from Melo to be fair. I really hope we can keep this momentum going throughout the season, i don't want us to meet you until the conf. finals this year.
