i think its time for walker to leave the club but i aint to shore who the posible replacement cud be?? i think we already have the players in place for defence in stewart, stearman, macarthy, maybury and then just need to add a bit more for back up. midfield lacks flair on the left so i think like most city fans that we sign kris commons. be very happy and optimistic for the season ahead if we did but by the looks of it, it sounds like levein is of scouting for cheap foreign tat. then upfront it shud definatly be moore and connelly upfront. Just got a feeling that we will end up signing a few cheap foreign players who aint good enough and have de vries upfront and not end up signing moore :(

I wouldnt opt for Moore and Connolly up front myself, I perfer to have a big man little man combo, always has been the way with Leicester, obviously someone better than MDV, not too hard eh. In midfield we lack a ballwinner, Tiatto is becoming reckless and unreliable, Gudjonsson can be good but isnt showing it, Williams is lazy, we need someone to partner steven hughes, a lennon type figure.

I think the loss of Lennon was the beginning of our downfall, we seemed to be coping well with the loss of O'Neill until we lost him, then we just became cack, and now look at us :(

Yeah i agree with ya C-man, i was talking to my m8 the other day

and he said that if O'Neill was stil here that we'd be where Bolton are now,

and i agreed with that, what do others think to this??

Yeah i agree with that mate, O'Neill is a similar manager to Allardyce, got a great team for nothing. I was distraught when O'Neill left and i remember thinking 'theres the end of a succesful era' and i was right :(

I hate being right sometimes

Although, we were in a position were our squad was excellent and we had a good financial standing. Any average premier manager would have found it easy to keep us in the premier, unfortunatly we got Taylor.

And now whenever we have a new manager they get labelled "The new MON"...In MA's first season he was "the new MON"...Well that lasted when those same people started slagging him off didn't it? And its the same with Levein as soon as he came its "the new MON" is finally here...Now people are slagging him off after yesterday, give a season at least FFS! I might be moaning at Leicester but I ain't moaning at the manager! I didn't want MA to go, and I ain't moaning at Levein, I am moaning at the shitty players we have...

"The new MON"...look people, we won't have another MON, we don't deserve another MON with the current players playing the way they are, and we are and will be a average mid-table team for the folling years to come!

I have said it for the past 3 to 4 years now "City...Please prove me wrong" and i'm yet to be proved wrong

Sadly I don't think we'll ever have another manager of the calibre of MON during my lifetime. He was a one off - one in a million, a truly great manager that has proved successful whereever he has been.

I could imagine us being top 6 of the premiership every year, we can only wonder what awesome players O'Neill would have brought with the money that taylor spent. O'Neill could get the best out of every player and played every player in his strongest postion. Just think how we would have ripped apart sides with the squad we ripped apart Sunderland 5-2 + £30M worth of players added to the side and gelled my O'Neill.

I have to reminding myself of this and get on and accept that we are gonna be a mediocre first division side for a few seasons and that a boss like O'Neill at Leicester was a one in a million.

I have been spoilt with Leicester and success, my first game was the Blackburn play off final, even that side was good and finished top 6 3 seasons running!

One of Kisnorbo's positions is holding central midfielder.

CL has already said in the media he is looking for pacey defenders to allow the side to defend higher up the pitch, which means the midfield can suppoort attacks far more - that would suit both Williams & Hughes

Tne combination of young players & cheap imports has seen Derby into the play off this season. Even Forest fans seem mixed on Commons, flash of brilliance & then nothing was one view I heard on a recent phone in

LENNON is a free agent in the summer. Im sure he's still got a house in Leicester and I think its where his girlfriend/wife is from. Maybe a long shot but maybe he'd come back because i dont think he's that willing to commit long term to Celtic with O'Neil seeming certain to join a big Prem side as soon as a job becomes availiable and lets face it I dont think Lennon is good enough for the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool etc
